  1. Finding the winner of any race will be hard. At present if I had to name one for the Gold Cup it would be Pandorama. Reported to be working well and has been supported on Betfair. http://www.attheraces.com/cheltenham/article.aspx?hlid=514876&lid=18+mar+2011+-+15:20+-+gold+cup&raceid=302640&title=Pandorama+delights+Meade+in+spin&ref=Race+-+Cheltenham+-+18+Mar+2011+-+15:20+-+Gold+Cup&nav=&sub=&day=Mon

  3. Strange, I could have sworn the title of this thread was "Colchester Away."

  5. Yep, the UK is definitely racist, even our Olympic logo is "racist" http://insidethegames.biz/summer-olympics/2012/12099-london-2012-logo-is-qracistq-claims-iran
  6. Good to see Arsenal taking defeat with good grace as usual jack_wilshere Jack Wilshere Well done to the BCFC player who slapped Koscielny on the head when they scored, very big of you!
  7. Absolutely horrible waiting but still not confirmed, surely by now it would be ?
  8. I think he was 36 ? Still waiting for official news but it is all over Twitter. He did retire due to ill health I believe. Very sad news if true.
  9. Still a few weeks away but already plenty of interest and lots of free sites to check out. Since horse racing tips have died a death maybe this might generate some interest and maybe a 4 day tipping challenge. Any thoughts, ideas, ante-post fancies ? A few good sites/articles : http://www.attheraces.com/cheltenham/index.aspx?ref=rhspromo http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/racing/article-1359213/Paul-Nicholls-guide-runners-Cheltenham-Festival.html http://www.cheltenham.co.uk/ http://www.cheltenham-festival.co.uk/cheltenham-free-bets.php?src=yahoo&kywd=cheltenham+generic2009&OVRAW=Cheltenham%20Festival&OVKEY=cheltenham%20festival&OVMTC=standard&OVADID=6727138031&OVKWID=46179059031&OVCAMPGID=328508531&OVADGRPID=4573852419
  10. At least we beat Watford in the 2003 FA Cup semi final !
  11. Yes, Everton were a real bogey team for a long time. Even worse in 1971 we lost 8-0 !
  12. Which presumably is why it did get moved !!
  13. Oh and less than 12 hours after this was posted http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?28518-Reminder-Use-of-the-Main-Board
  14. Very bizarre ! Not actually Saints related though so my money is on this thread being moved to General Sports,......... if any of the Mods actually spot it
  15. Yep, if you listen to certain people on here Daren. But then again you cannot argue with stupidity, just ignore it and believe in your own feelings and opinions. Nothing or nobody will take away my fantastic memories of the late 60's. 70's and 80's.Most of this thread, if I am being totally honest, is utter nonsense.
  16. Johnson and Poulter both out in the 1st Round. Casey, Kaymer, McIlroy, McDowell and W******d all through. Woods lost to Thomas Bjorn.
  17. No, I cannot remember. If my Dad was still alive he would definitely remember !
  18. I only ran in 1982 and 1983, 1982 was definitely 2 circuits. 1983, I would say I'm about 90% certain.
  19. Lol, I finished in the same time having run 3hrs 15 in 1982, it might well have been you I hobbled along with for the last few miles It was 2 circuits as indeed it was in 1982. I remember well in '82 running pretty much level 2 x 1 hour 37-38 minute splits and passing 100's of runners on lap 2. Strangely enough my fastest ever time for a half marathon was 1hr 45 mins so I clearly peaked in 1982
  20. Shilton is our best goalkeeper ever, Niemi would be 2nd choice for me. I liked Grobellar even though he gave us some really hair raising moments! Tim Flowers was very good, possibly underrated. Paul Jones was also very consistent.
  21. Close call but Danny was slightly better in my opinion, this is unforgettable
  22. For 20/20, one hopes he will play this time. It sounds positive ! http://ht.ly/40cKh
  23. There sure are some real mis-matches early on !
  24. Yep, it was hot in 1983 which didn't help, I remember looking for shade to run in ! Yep, Burgess Road was definitely on the route but not even sure now where Gaiters Hill is !
  25. In other words if you don't do it it is only because you're a lazy git;)
