  1. See I'd argue that the fans can play an important role in whether we stay up or not. A booing, baying crowd getting on the player's backs will have some impact on their form and play. Whereas a positive, loud crowd will help with motivation and morale surely? In the first instance players are gonna come along and think whats the point surely? However in the second they'd have a little more affinity for the fans and the club if they are supported. Oh and the site is quiet most likely due to the poor football of Saints that gets discussed. The constant bickering and the cycle of continuous repetition of the same topics!
  2. Ha ha - didn't even realise that the thread title could be read like that! Ruebans Agboola used to run the Pub in the Park at the Sports Center up till a few years ago. Had many a drink in there and getting lathered. Top bloke when he was there.
  3. Yep have read that the GBA version is closest to the SNES original. Shrinking down and then racing at 150cc was a challenge. Also the computer cheats like crazy to keep up with you!
  4. Well not his per se. I thought that he was a partner in it. I may well be wrong though! Buddha Bar/Lounge - whatever its called.
  5. Cosimo Sarli is tearing it up in the Italian local leagues.
  6. Ex-Saints players that is. Just wondering if people know where they've gone or are somewhere random! Seen that Richard Hall was a coach at Ipswich but has been let go. I'm sure Benali still gets out his Subaru for a drive round Soton from time to time. Might check out Lundekvaam's Budha Bar to catch a glimpse of the man. Doesn't the footballing gawd that is Telfer play for a local team now?
  7. Out of 10 I'd give her one. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  8. Out of 10 I'd give her one. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  9. Manure fans don't know how good they have got it with the team winning things on an annual basis. I can't stand the arrogance of some manure followers.
  10. Whilst it is a good thing to have a look at it does feel like another step towards 1984 for me. Did have everyone at the office having a play with it today though.
  11. Anyone else think the original is the best of the lot? The SNES has come out a few times over the years so that I can play this game. However my SNES lead has packed it in so will buy a N64/Gamecube RGB lead to hook up! I wish Ninty will hurry the heck up and get this on the Wii VC. But I think they're having trouble emulating it. As an update of the game with an online mode would quite simply be awesome.
  12. I'm going to get myself a new season ticket. Gave it up this year but found that I miss it too much. Also I don't have a life on saturdays.
  13. Good to see them getting dicked. Just so tired of manure being on top every year.
  14. Had this discussion with friends over email today and the above is what we concluded. Well timed and organised protest can achieve results and make people notice. I wasn't for the war in Iraq so could see why people would protest. However directing abuse and demonstrating against returning soldiers on parade is shameful. As TLS and Miserable say these protesters have done it to get a reaction and get noticed - which they have. The soldiers are caught in the middle as they are only doing their job. Would they really want to go out to places on the chance that they may not come back? The leader of this group was on GMTV this morning and his arguments got shredded because he just went off on one without knowing all the facts. Is a sad that these type of people don't realise/comprehend that being British allows them to do this and seem to take it for granted.
  15. I don't think so. Not yet anyhows.
  16. Ha ha! Thats a little too late. See above! Other than that it seems like its a quiet first half.
  17. Have you heard that bird is the word?
  18. I'm supremely f**ked off. I saw that Punjabi was going to run before Xmas and was gonna put money on (as thats what I am) it BUT I forgot all the damned Festival and the race. Of course it was bound to happen.
  19. I could see the need to loan out Rasiak due to gettting costs off the wage bill. And who would have thought that Watford would eb scrapping for relegation with us? I certainly didn't. I don't recall anyone complaining when Rasiak went on loan and then subsequently got injured for a couple of months. If he had stayed here and got injured we would have been in a worse position. Also if Dyer and Stern manage to help Swansea/Bristol to beat teams around us I'd be more than happy. Although them being here in the first place and being played would probably have been better and ensuring we weren't in a relegation battle in the first place! Its a ruddy viscious circle at SFC.
  20. Aye I did think the boxed game screen was rubbish and thought Sega wouldn't be that silly. Hadn't bothered looked at set up options TBH but will change it now!
  21. I've bought it. Not liking the fact that the games are boxed in on screen. Why not just use up the whole of the tv instead of having a background? Although the collection has got the Story of Thor on it. A game in the mould of Zelda on the SNES. Well worth it.
  22. Pah! Its no CM 97/98.
  23. TBH last season I thought that we'd stay up regardless. However this season since the new year I don't think we will. I just can't tell where the points are going to come from. Think I'm in a panic induced state at the moment regarding Saints!
  24. Not being funny but I've always seen Ipswich as our bogey team. I'll be happy with a draw whatever the team.
