  1. But was this not what you what you wanted with the oncoming of administration?
  2. Super Mario Kart.
  3. What? Your not at the game? Ruddy Plastic!
  4. I just wonder whats going to happen to all the workers once the construction work has finished up or slowed down?
  5. Why should the people leaving early even have to justify it? Why not just go one step further and start calling the thousands of fans that didn't turn up and make it a full house at SMS names as well? Where were they when the club needed them most? I was sat in the Kingsland/Northam corner and it must have been 30-40 people that left early. They paid, could only stomach 70 mins and left. Ideally in a perfect world everybody would stay and support the team till the end but its never gonna happen here or anywhere.
  6. Do behave. If people want to leave early its their prerogative. Booing is one thing but when people get called w**kers/c**nts/etc its not on. They probably had enough - at least they turned up to watch and support the team for awhile anyway. The ground wasn't full by all means. Do you think they are likely to return after experiencing that? Especially now when the club needs all the support it can get.
  7. Financial Directors do more than just report they make the hard line decisions. However as you mentioned at SFC he was most likely a puppet or gave up the ghost of trying as nobody ever listened. He needs to be replaced if and when we're out of this mess.
  8. To be honest not much as the situation has completely changed. If Lowe had gone AND we were in mid-table nothingness I don't think that many more people would have actually gone. However as we're now up sh*t creek fans will want to go to show their support otherwise the club may be gone by the summer. A very sobering thought and makes me really despair about what will happen.
  9. I love Stanley's views. A few weeks back he said there was no hope as we would get relegated, end of story. Surely he'd be indifferent now?
  10. Hood Rats 2 All I can say is that it was so bad it was actually quite funny. Basically about a group of girls of which one gets beat up by her boyfriend and the others decide to get some payback. Its like a modern day take on The Warriors (now that is a quality film) but just 100 times worse. Only saving grace is that there are some nice ladies in the film. GAR's Diary of the Dead Would have been better if he'd gone with a full on approach of making it real life rather than it being contrieved as it is. Rubbish film, actors and the meassage of the film didn't get through to me at all. Also the main guy is an idiot for not going with the obvious - you would'nt get people like that in real in that situation. Making a film Vs Staying alive and being with hot missus? Tough choice hey.
  11. Well if it takes off, I can see Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony jumping onto the bandwagon too. Which should be a good thing and provide some competition surely.
  12. Aye Season 2 threw me initially but was worth it. As for McNulty - you can't help but like the man.
  13. The BBC have snapped this great cop drama with a touch of humour up. Only a year or two after the last season finished. Check out how the 'cells' change over the years. Nonetheless it'll be shown on BBC2 at 11:20! All 5 seasons on a nightly basis. Good stuff indeed but a rubbish time. Get involved people as it'll be worth it IMO.
  14. This sh*t just got real.
  15. I read about this too. Sounds interesting but will it ever work well or be practical? Also they are looking at a subscription service. How much would you be willing to pay eventually?
  16. Pah! I was there for the Brighton game and managed to get a chair and a chunk of prime turf which I proudly carried home and planted in my garden. Its still there. Yours for the princely sum of £400 ono! :smt083
  17. Still remember Schumacher cheating his way to the championship against Hill. I don't why he never got penalised for it.
  18. Eerie as that is similar to my post!
  19. Pong Telly Game thingy. Atari XE - I/my parents didn't know any better as when the currys guy sold it to us. Did have a flight simulator though, which as an 8 year old didn't know how to play properly! NES Megadrive SNES Saturn GBA Gamecube DS PS2 PC Wii Xbox 360
  20. The Amstrad phone is a thing of beauty. Will be used as super duper paper weights in the future.
  21. I dunno but I heard that her fave ice cream was Walls.
  22. It has a strange morbid allure. I keep going back to it.
  23. Fair enough if thats what you think. I'll carry on hoping until I know its a certainty. I wasn't saying that Saints fans have been booing. I was talking in general how fans can in some instances affect games and others they just don't. Its a combination of factors. As Alpine stated he thinks it comes down to the manager and the players whereas I'd say its more than just that. Don't get me wrong a thorough professional team will get on with it regardless of whats around them whereas others will play to the crowd etc.
  24. Rueben Agboola - he should have stayed at the pub!
