I was working in Dublin and a rocked up for the office 5 a side and much to my astonishment, amongst all the Man Utd, Liverpool, Celtic and Gaelic football jerseys, was another Saints shirt - Brian O'Halloran. He picked his English team in the early 80s and it happened to be us. Fair play, he's stuck with it. Comes over once a year to SMS, still in touch with him now.

Last time I looked, this was a thread about Ryan Dickson and by association, our other left backs / midfielders.... and now it's a p1ssing contest. Boring.

Dickson is much better than Harding IMO and a better left winger than Holmes. Hope he comes back afrer a month getting match fit.

What's his position. I don't reckon anyone knows. He's left footed but no longer a full back, has no discernable attacking game to play as a forward. Maybe a holding midfielder like Morgan (ie, one that doesn't tackle much). Shouldn't be near the team yet IMO, Dickson or Butterfield should be on the bench ahead of him.

I think Hammond used to take them for Brighton. Would say Fox but left footers always seem to miss in shoot outs..
