I think we should wait until he dies and then have him stuffed.

Looks like someone has blanked the names out.

Can't believe people don't think he's good enough. He's a former England international with plenty of top flight experience. Could pave the way for Forecast to make a permanent move away from the club???

I hope you win and the cancer charity gets no money!

That is probably the most depressing question I've ever seen anyone ask. Andy appears to be a good, intelligent lad. Of course he realises he will need to pay bills etc. What he's saying - and I completely agree with him - is that it doesn't appeal to him to be a multi-millionaire or anything. I would far rather be on a more average wage but in a job which I have a passion for and enjoy getting up for everyday. Of course, that sounds a bit like living in dreamworld and all jobs have their downsides, but I'd like to get as close as I can possible to it. A bigger wage would be a bonus. For the record, I graduated a couple of years ago and have been very disappointed and struggled to find any "proper" work. Hopefully something good will come up soon, but in the meantime I'm happy in the knowledge that I have a good degree under my belt.

Yep, but rest assured you could always join the navy if all else fails.

There are "proper" 6 minute highlights on Saints player now too. Should Ipswich's first goal have counted? The commentator on there said that the first shot which came off the the bar actually hit the stanchion posts holding the net up behind the goal, but having watched it in slow mtoion about 10 times, it looks to me as if it just hit the bar?

How is posting a list of games with higher attendances than Pompey helping your argument Corpy? For the record, this was during a period of the clubs history in which a lot of fans were boycotting....and the Sheffield United game only included 500 away fans, so there were still more Saints there.

Ipswich 2 - 5 Southampton - post match fapping session

Apparently the stadium announcer refused to read out the Saints score at Fratton last night -
Five substitutes from seven substitutes: potentially a hindrance?
jawillwill replied to Tac-tics's topic in The Saints
It's stupid. I understand it's supposed to benefit the smaller clubs who have smaller squads, but there's no rule which says they have to have the bench full - as Pompey will vouch for. All it does is hinder clubs trying to give youth players a bit of experience on the bench. -
I heard the 9/11 attacks happened because the US government were desperate to destroy crucial evidence proving that man has never walked on the moon. I doubt any of you are going to believe that, but trust me, a mental person told me it was true over the internet once.

This video has some views about the civil unrest throughout England and Southampton; and Pompeys game v Barnet last night. Fascinating stuff. [video=youtube;HqXU-fjW2Hg]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqXU-fjW2Hg

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-14460554 The 2nd video on that article sums up the majority of morons involved in the rioting I think: Reporter: "So it's 9 in the morning and you're drinking wine and drunk" Girl: "Yeah I know it's great. Free alcohol innit" Reporter: "Why are you doing this" Girl: "Its the governmenents fault innit. Them conservatives or whoever it is in charge. Is it them? We wanna show the police we can do whatever we want" It's the stupidity of it that annoys me most. If they knew why they were doing it ...well it'd still be stupid....but not as ridiculously stupid as it is now.
-
Personally, I don't think the shooting has anything to do with the riots. Not for most of the people involved anyway. They're all clearly anarchists who feel now is the time to work together and take out all ther issues they have (probably from their criminal pasts) on the police. Either way it's all pretty disgraceful, and sadly I can see it spreading to other cities around the country in the coming days and weeks.

That's only according to her wiki page, and there's no source to back it up. I expect it was written by a jealous Chelsea fan who wanted her to front their global brand. I suggest we all write to GMTV asking her to confirm who she supports, like on TV. If only Eamon Holmes (or whatever that fat manc who used to present it was called) was still there. He would have got the truth out of her. COYFB

I found out GMTV presenter Fiona is a Saints fan today. I think I prefer having her as a fan to Lucy Pinder. She's more homely. If you had to choose just one to be the female figure head of SFC, who would you have. For me it'd definately be Fiona. It's a nice name too- if I ever have a daughter, I might name her after her. Poll mods? EDIT: Having read her Wiki page she apparently stopped supporting Saints and now prefers Chelsea because they're more successful. I don't know what to think anymore.

Very good question and one I've been thinking about for a while now. The bench is an integral part of the stadium and as a club with ambitions of reaching the Premiership, we should definaely be considering installing some more flashy seats. I've always admired the ones they've had at St. James Park in Newcastle (although Exeter's ground have some nice ones too), which look a bit like the seats you'd get if you were sitting in first class on a plane. It'd also be a nice touch if they included the club crest on them like at Old Trafford, but I expect NC is a bit wary of doing this if the speculation of us having a new badge in the near future has any truth in it. Afterall, he is a shrewed businessman and will now want to have to change the seats after just a year or two of having them. It'd be lovely if the seats were also heated and could massage the players backs, however this would undoubtedly be expensive. Perhaps we could just buy a couple of these and the subs could just switch places every 20 minutes or so. As for the advertising hoardings, I'm a big fan of the retro non-electronic ones as I think they are not as distracting to the television viewers, and also more environmentally friendly. I wouldn't be wholly against the idea of electric ones (assuming the stadium didn't end up looking like Picadilly Circus LOL ), but if we did get them, hope we would power them using renewable sources such as solar or wind power.I'd would imagine there is definate investment potential to having solar panels all around the roof of St. Marys and we could perhaps sell electricity to the surrounding areas, undercutting the prices of many of the established utility companies. Not only would this be a brilliant money spinner for the club, it would also be very beneficial to the local community. If your friend wants to meet up for a bit of a chat to discuss some of our ideas, tell him to drop me a PM on here. One more point I'd like to make (going off on a bit of a tangent, sorry but I only have 3 posts per day ), has anyone else noticed the yellow lines on the edge of the stairs of some of the stands have faded a bit? I think someone at the club should definately be made aware so that something can be done. Hopefully it can be sorted with minimus fuss without destabilising the feel-good factor that is surrounding the club at the moment. COYRs!

Saints 3 - 1 Leeds, Post Match Celebration

Which promoted team had the biggest attendance?
