I think Redmond will have gained a fair few admirers during this season and would not be at all surprised to see some interest there. Same for Lemina, despite his limited playing time, and PEH. Hopefully they have also bought into the Ralph project.

Reassurances and reality are not always one of the same. Things change for better and for worse. The situation with Lander being one of them but let's hope the vision he was sold will play out. Without him we have demonstrated we will eventually slip up with this squad.

Ralph, with the support of this backroom staff, is the reason we stayed up. End of. Two years running we have done it despite the way we have been run. Let's hope we get back to former ways this summer and next season. Let's hope we can keep Ralph as I think we are very lucky to have a man if his calibre at the helm. Let's hope we have a 'project' that keeps him motivated to stay with us.

He’s 25 and has 125 professional games. He’s probably where he’s going to be in terms of development. He’s not a ‘bad’ player or whatever other adjectives have been thrown about but he’s not of the standard for a club wanting top half / third of the Premier League requires.

Agreed. Romeu is one of those understated players. Along with PEH he's been key in the way we have set up under RH.

He didn't have any of those defensive issues at Leicester so what was the excuse there?

Under the circumstances I’d say it’s somewhat miraculous.

Gary Neville is literally the only person who wouldn’t have given that as a penalty.

If you didn’t notice it in the match you might want to watch the highlights. Virtually every attack was down our right and they had joy pretty much every time.

We’ve been the better team for pretty much the whole of the second half.

He’s at a different level to any other player. Such a shame he can’t get out on the pitch more.

The most enjoyable part of the game has been Owen and Owen trying to tell Peter Walton the rules of football.

Problems everywhere but there’s a lot coming down Stephens side and he’s not dealing with any of it. Nor are the other 10 for that matter.
