He’s 25 and has 125 professional games. He’s probably where he’s going to be in terms of development. He’s not a ‘bad’ player or whatever other adjectives have been thrown about but he’s not of the standard for a club wanting top half / third of the Premier League requires.

Agreed. Romeu is one of those understated players. Along with PEH he's been key in the way we have set up under RH.

He didn't have any of those defensive issues at Leicester so what was the excuse there?

Under the circumstances I’d say it’s somewhat miraculous.

PEH and Romeu are going to be absolutely cream crackered.

Gary Neville is literally the only person who wouldn’t have given that as a penalty.

If you didn’t notice it in the match you might want to watch the highlights. Virtually every attack was down our right and they had joy pretty much every time.

We’ve been the better team for pretty much the whole of the second half.

He’s at a different level to any other player. Such a shame he can’t get out on the pitch more.

The most enjoyable part of the game has been Owen and Owen trying to tell Peter Walton the rules of football.

Sometimes, not often I’ll grant you, you can mildly entertaining. Today you are just being a total ****womble.

Problems everywhere but there’s a lot coming down Stephens side and he’s not dealing with any of it. Nor are the other 10 for that matter.

We are atrocious at the moment. All over the place. No ball retention no nothing.

It’s not a clear red whatsoever as endorsed by the referee. Cynical but a yellow.

Boly is twice the size of Hoj. Wolves are a big team so not easy to match one for one all over but that was a mismatch!

You’d be surprised what a great antidote getting safe can be.
