I’d be surprised if they can get a better manager than Wagner but maybe a fresh face is what they need. I don’t think even Ralph could keep them up. -
Leicester 1 Saints 2 - Post Match Celebrations

He was the bookies favourite to be the next Prem manager to get the boot before today’s game. This won’t have helped his cause. Awesome result. What a man Ralph is. Stuff of legends even at this early stage. -
I had it in my mind that Ralph would have a couple of signings up his sleeve from his previous dealings. In the same way that Koeman, Puel and Pellegrino did. Maybe that might still be the case, I guess we'll know in the next couple of weeks.
-
So Ralph has said he know's who is going to be his number 1 keeper. Was coy when pushed but I guess we'll find out soon enough.....
-
I can only think it’s his attitude that is the problem. He must really have got up Ralph’s nose not to be given a chance.

Hammy twinge.

Do you mean Les? This was / is our strategy. BTW not sure anyone is mentioning 'world class players' but players who can be acquired relatively cheaply, do a good job for the club for a couple of seasons then move on for significantly higher value and repeat. Supplemented by developing youth and the occasional 'exception' such as Pelle. In the absence of a middle-eastern or similar beneficiary there aren't so many other options if you want to stay in the Premier League.
-
Or we buy somewhat off-the-radar / unproven younger players with potential. You know, the ‘Southampton way / model’ which we’ve been following successfully until the last couple of years when the black box caught a virus.
-
He’s seemingly been on the cusp of the sack several times over the last 12 months but normally digs out a couple of job-saving results. That’s the mark of a World class manager.

Snowflake. Nothing sexist about it. He didn’t like her style. He referred to her as ‘she’ because it was woman in the same way he would have said ‘he’ if it was a man. HTH.
-
He is special but not in a good way.
-
Ralph obviously sees more in him than you. Ralph knows what he’s doing.
-
Doesn't really fit the SFC business model although we've seen exceptions to that in the past with Pelle and Ings to a degree. Same goes for Clyne. All depends on how 'desperate' we are I guess.
-
With Yoshida away now for the Asia Cup then something will have to change from the 'settled CB's' unfortunately. Assume Stephens will get the nod but that may mean Hoedt on the bench although Bertrand should be available soon so maybe Ralph will try something there?
-
He probably watched the video nasties and decided he didn’t need to see any more!
-
Cedric may be off but while he’s here then he should be used if he can help. As for the other changes Ralph said he wants to see them all play so he knows what he’s got and what might be needed in this window.
-
Ralph said he wants to see all his squad so he’s sticking to his word. This team looks to have a chance of a result at least.
-
I don’t know how good you think he thinks he is(?) but I bet he’s pretty much the first name on Ralph’s teamsheet. Yes it was stupid but there’s plenty of more worthy players you could vent your anger on.
-
No surprises there. Some players who were given a chance have underlined why they shouldn’t be given any more.
-
Up until two weeks ago it would have been considered such.
-
Did he have the chip on his shoulder removed? (calm down, it was a joke)

Match fit. Match fit. Match fit. Comprender?

Yes, he's got his finger right on the pulse
