  1. I have some sympathy for Hoedt. He tries but he’s just not good enough. He should never have been signed. It’s a club issue not the player. We have the worst pool of CB’s you could ever imagine.
  2. I’d like to think he’d never wear a Saints shirt again. We’ve got some proper poor players not least Hoedt but you can’t fault his effort whereas Lemina is a disgrace.
  3. It was quite clearly not the time or place for that pass.
  4. We won so that makes Hughes right, no? Did you see Austin’s last penalty?
  5. It seems most of the whinging on the forum is by people whinging about people whinging.
  6. 180 degrees in an hour and a half?
  7. The negative inertia has been building for some time. With the current ownership, structure and people in positions of influence it's going to be difficult to arrest that and turn it around. We are on a trend of decline.
  8. The internet can be so cruel..........
  9. Other than Stephens at RB I'd go with that.
  10. All the talk was that Puel was going to get sacked (again) if Leicester had lost last week.
  11. His attempted 'challenge' to Matip for the goal wasn't 'good' in any shape or form.

    Cedric

I got the impression that was more to do with the 11th hour negotiations and impending transfer deadline.
  13. Do you believe in fairies too?
  14. That's the point. The general trend, in pretty much all respects, is down and that's the worry. Even Captain Edward J. Smith could probably see what's coming.
  15. Long ahead of Gabbiadini is ridiculous.
  16. It was a typo. Actually read 'has great hair'.
  17. My mistake. I've been trying to delete any reference to Pellegrino's time with us from my memory!
  18. Erm, I think he was referring to Koeman and Hughes.
  19. He'd still be a No.2. Behind Ederson instead of McCarthy.
  20. Dermot Gallgher says the referee made the right decision in his weekly 'Ref Watch' spot on Sky Sports http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11477502/ref-watch-kenedy-kick-is-a-red-card-offence-says-dermot-gallagher Everton 2-1 Southampton INCIDENT: Jordan Pickford should have been sent off, according to Southampton manager Mark Hughes, after the Everton goalkeeper caught Danny Ings in clearing a ball in the second half. Pickford escaped without punishment. DERMOT'S VERDICT: Correct decision Pickford clashes with Ings DERMOT SAYS: "I don't think this is a foul. The player gets the ball quite clearly. The goalkeeper goes to win the ball, he gets the ball and he's in the air, and his boot catches the shirt. I don't think any referee is going to give a foul for that. "The goalkeeper has to go for the ball and he's cleared the ball. He's got tangled up in the shirt, and the referee was right to play on."
  21. Completed. Poor Stoke. It never rains.
  22. You missed the best part. The Daily Echo at their editorial best “If there’s an interesting option abroad, I think he has intimidated he wouldn’t be adverse to that, but if he doesn’t go out I’m quite happy because I’ve got three outstanding goalkeepers.” Mind you he always was scared of coming off of his line.
  23. I think he was talking about Sims.
  24. I guess you mean free agents (as per the article) rather than free transfers. As you say, no incomings of any description till the January window according to that article.
  25. Anyone who took a glancing look at The Foxes forum last season would have thought they were looking at this forum a season previous. It was a mirror image.
