I'll be leaving the turf flat until the Guineas meeting but I will watch out for well backed Barry Hills runners - his early season stats have been consistantly good in recent years. Anyone know of other trainers that can get their runners ready early?

I can forgive the Menorah ride even thoough it was hardly vintage Johno, shocking going and a really muddling race with no pace - everything against what Menorah needs. Add to that the fact that Johno had just been taken a right kicking the race before. To me O'Connell looked like he'd been give clear instructions to keep Dunguib out wide, the only thing he maybe criticised for is not progressing the horse through the race.
