Haha - you can forget your nap ChrisO!! He's my bet of the day too... Others worth avoiding: 355 Perth: Nearby 440 Epsom: Tesslam 720 Kemp: On Terms
-
I know. Fortunately they drifted enough during the day for the Back bet to kick in, otherwise serious damage would have been done. Visualise was layed at 3.15, later in the day my back bet was matched at 4.15 therefore negating the risk. Enterprising ride by Ryan to win.

Haha, pin your hopes on one election...

2 lays today: Ponte 4.10 Bated Breath (3.1 on Bf) Winds 7.10 Visualize (3.15 on Bf) Other hopes to win: Hex 3.30 Last of the Bunch Kemp 5.25 Star Galaxy

Sweaty National: Gone To Lunch

Ouch! Tough old day. Elusive Pimpernel was most impressive in the Craven, very game performance. Possibly more of a Derby horse but wouldnt be surprised to see him show up well in the Guineas.

3 Lays today: ****TAIL CHARLIE (Ripon 2.00) @ 3.5, ELDALIL (Newm 4.45) @ 3.35 and KHANDAQ (Ripon 4.55) @ 3.3 Agreed with Frankie on Captain Chris in the 2.10 at Chelters. Hollins could offer some e/w value. Ripon - again agree with Frankie on Earlsmedic in the 2.35. I think Lucky General may get the run of the race in the Craven at Newmarket 335, not really a miler but could be allowed to dictate from the front. Good e/w value at 16.5.

Plenty of good racing on offer today. Newmarket: 1.50 Agree with Frankie that Esaar will take some beating but I think Count of Anjou offers some value. 3.00 Interesting to see Godolphin with early season runners and I like Ameer but again think that Jira is value at 20+ 4.10 Music Show Channon has been quite bullish on this filly. Very competitive Nell Gwyn with most of the big yards represented. I also think Blue Maiden and Distinctive offer value and I'll look to trade in running on these 2. 5.20 Deauville Post - nap. Cheltenham: 2.10 Monetary Fund not an original selection but should hose up. 2.45 Oakfield Legend shown good improvement before Uing LTO. If has recovered sufficiently is good value at around 12s for this. 3.20 Not a big fan of Handicap Hurdles but will side with King's Saticon, again a decent price but this is highly competitive. Beverley: 2.00 Royal Dignitary to win and The Craig to trade. 3.10 Fol Hollow nap! I fear the Pears two but everything looks right for the Dandy Nicholls horse. Lord of the Reins to trade. 4.55 Set Back another Nicholls horse who had a reasonable run LTO. Kempton: 2 lays for me: 8.35 Brother Cha - lay @ 2.6 9.05 Gold Rules - lay @ 3 Best of luck to all getting involved today.

Agreed. I'm sure the Craven meeting used to be on C4.

If we don't make the playoffs and anyone dares diss Mr Pardew...

My head says we will fall just short of a play off position this season. When reviewing the season it is plain to see where the biggest **** up all season was and that was the time wasted by the Administrator with Fialka and the other tyre kickers, delaying the Swiss revolution by at least a month at the most critical time in our recovery. So whilst Begbuys and Traitors are all slapping their backs and loving the £500k they squeezed out of us - effectively Surman - they and only they are respnsible for our delayed resurgence. -
Phew!! The Moose was 55 on Betfair with a furlong to go and then flashed home to just miss out.
-
Exeter 210 - Celtic Spirit 20 on Bf. Not a big fan on handicap hurdles but Spirit looks a lively outsider. Lay of the Day is Moose Moran in the 2.50 at Ponte. 6/4 in a maiden is short enough to take on, breeding of this horse suggests he will be best over further.

Not a great deal leaps off the page today. Amateur day at Sedgefield, one decent bet here for me in the 3.40 - Dr Valentine (4.8 Betfair). Some nice looking handicaps on the flat, not getting involved but do like the look of Katehari (4.6 on Betfair) in the last at Windsor. Some good racing to be had midweek so will save the coppers until then. Good luck!

Bob n You obliges for the place money!

Not online tomorrow. Really fancy Noble Alan in the 2m Nov Chase. Very pleasing on the eye, former Sweaty Champion Hurdle winner and leps beautifully. Big step up in class here. As for the big one, all backed each way and nice prices. If one places I'm covered: My Will Erics Charm Cerium Ballyfitz State of Play Think the ground has gone against Ballyfitz now. Good luck!!

Nice one Frankie!

Cheers Frankie and well done Chris O! Luckily enough I backed him on Betfair at 39.
-
Thought Johno tried to ride Monet, just bloody sit on him the horse knows the time of day. Hope Kalahara is ok.

When it's not going for you....
-
Ouch indeed!!
-
4.20 Chamirey to win, Double Esperesso to place 4.55 Bob N You, Predictive both place bets 5.30 Pickworth in the Bumper to place
-
In which case I'd be tempted to lay the value of the E/W stake on Fred to win, especially as Bungle has place to 6th.
-
If you don't have one open up a Betfair account, I can refer you if you like and we can share the commission they give me - £25 in credit I think would have to check that. Currently you can "Lay" Fred at 25 (24/1) to win. Say you have £10 at 100/1 potential return is £1010. You could lay the £10 back at 25 which would potentially cost you £250 but you now have a free bet on Fred to win £750. You could also decide to up the stake of the lay and therfore guarantee a profit. (Hope I'm not stating the bleeding obvious).

2.00 Escort'men - ultra impressive lto, slight concern on ground. Menorah was superb at Chelters, I hope it's left a mark on him. 2.35 Ogee - have my doubts that Burton will like Aintree, Ogee will. 3.10 Kalahari King - race will be run to suit, 3 likely leaders in this pack should set the King up. Will be happy to see Monet win, Geraghty must be gutted that Hendo has one in this. 3.45 Always Waining (e/w) - overpriced on his Aintree form of last year, came 4th in this. A very handy 12lb drop will only assist. If he avoids the likely trouble I expect a place and hope for the win. Will look at the rest when I get back from the fizzy hoe. Good luck.
