  1. ouch
  2. Why is it £10m upfront?? Seriously doubt that is correct. The more likely scenario is that Hughes draws his salary every month until he finds other work.
  3. Has he been sacked yet?
  4. It's so sh*t, it tickles my dark sense of humour. Black box my a**e!!
  5. That just says that the owners haven't got a clue on how to run a business let alone a football club. They are as much to blame as Les and Martin. Rome is burning, Nero Ralph is setting up a committee...
  6. When the owners sacked Reed and Hunter I stupidly thought they had a plan and we were about to see some significant changes at Saints... how wrong was I?? They've made a significant change but have no idea on the structure or people required to dig us out of this hole. They're expecting results to change now... how deluded could you possibly be?? Are we about to see the first ever sack a vice-chairman bounce where we go on a winning streak or at least score more goals than our opponent for once. It's an utter shambles. Embarrassing. God help us should Hughes have to be sacked or walks. No time for space or bloody satellites then. Sometimes you look at a person or business that fails and you think "well, you got what you deserved..." Mr Gao, that person and business is you.
  7. So Chelsea should sign JWP. Sorted.
  8. It's difficult to have sympathy for him
  9. I think I know what you meant to say but... Vestergaard is not an improvement on Double VD
  10. If you take a high line then that suggests that the keeper is ready to come and clean out anything in and around the 6 yard box. Keeper error. Move on. He's not anywhere close to being dropped. It was f****** Christmas for Brighton, the number of gifts we offered them. One crumb of comfort was how bad they were. Could easily be a Championship game next season, looked liked a Championship game at times.
  11. They won't want to pay out on sacking Hughes, but losing a few mill to pay off a manager compared to losing £100m by dropping out the league, I think we know what might happen. Not that I believe Hughes is the reason for our trend of the past 2 and a bit seasons. We're not attracting the players we were, we're not seen as a progressive club anymore, we're not reinvesting appropriately in the squad. When we've spent £18m+ it's been an utter failure, embarrassing in fact. What is our target? Complete lack of direction from the board. We're not even going to win the net spend league this season!!! Shambles.
  12. Lost count the number of times I've watched the Le Tiss goals on Youtube, never fails to put a smile on my face.
  13. On the positive side we are cracking value at 7/1 to be relegated.
  14. So Storrie comes out last week saying they should have sacked Hughes sooner... and then sacks the guy he replaces Hughes with. I think we know where the problem is with at Stoke.
  15. Has he gone yet??
  16. Stephens is encouraging, showed good progress this year and has the makings of a decent premiership centre back.
  17. I think so... see my previous post
  18. I think he'll be better for the experience.
  19. Flappyhandski?? No thanks.
  20. We're yet to see the best of him... I presume...
  21. Huge IF that Arsenal win tonight.. can't see it
