Spot on. Except Hoj will be collecting yellows, hopefully not as stupid as some of Victor's. Hoj is definitely the more accomplished footballer, great buy from what I've seen so far. It's hard to see where Austin fits into the formation we've seen so far. I'm hoping that we're seeing the new formation to bed it in alongside the 4-2-3-1 that has Charlie's name all over it.

Not sure if it's the way you worded it Meatball but it does sound a bit like Jose is holding a gun to the boards collective head.

Agreed that proving a point by the exception is not worthy. I really don't understand "showing ambition" as a point either but looking at real results the last 7 FA Cup Finals have been contested by teams such as: Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Hull City, Wigan, Liverpool, Stoke City and Portsmouth... (maybe I should have only gone back 6 years...) That's what you'd expect a club like ours, as well run as it is, to be achieving.

That is my point, really. I am not an advocate for sh!t or bust but when you perceive the only success for our club is how it is run that will eventually lead to despondency within the fan base. I do believe we are giving ourselves a sensible chance of success (cup final, winning a final) but would love to see it converted.

That's all well and good, I'm not doubting it as a sensible way to run our club but a fans aspirations are generally different to this. I'm pleased we are well run and it is good to see progression but success in the boardroom is not necessarily deemed as success in the stands.

What we really need is our modus operandi to bare some fruit. So far, as a fan we've seen the success of our trading and to some extent our academy. We've had a little sniff of the fruit with Europa qualification but in reality it won't result in something comparable to a Wembley final. I think that is the root of most fans frustrations and is seen on here in many guises (I don't mean St Charlie or Glasgow).

His stats are comparable to others that are lorded in the premier league.

I personally don't think Tadic would look out of place at a Spurs, Seville, Atletico, Dortmund, Juve etc. His goals and assists have been consistently good for us. Really pleased he extended his contract with us.
