This is the club all over - people wanting to throw their money at them but no one got the right answers... tut, tut, tut! Some one give them a gee up. Its one game not a cup final at wembly - .... I'm up for it! could we look at the possibility of a second game as there seams to be enough interest? But for fook sake get on with it will ya!!!! HAVE IT! (thats my playing style!)

The short sightedness in loaning out players.

Saga has a strike rate of 20 odd goalsin 33 games? rasiak was about 33 goals in 66 and I don't know Johns but he was well into double figures for the part of the season he played last year - ~ so I think that makes them all touching 20 goals a season if you look at the maths! -

I remember that - But the whole front line - £ x 20 goal a season strikers (potentially) then play one up front - a lad who has just broken through from the reserves? How bad do you think the financial situation will be if we take the drop. saga has already proved what a difference a proven goalscorer will make. The decision was unbelievably bad and short sited. -

Think I said that! -
Rasiak scored for Watford this weekend against Charlton - the two points difference between the win and draw could make the difference between CCC survival for us and admin and relegation - so how much financial sense is there in getting these players off the wage bill - To me its like dropping a tenner and finding a penny. Super Brett scored for Blackpool as well this weekend to make things even worse. It is easier to swallow with him but Rasiak remains a saints player and therefore by scoring for watford can actually jepordise our future - can't grasp this really. Have struggled to understand the motives behind the way all the senior players have been dealt with this season. 3 20plus goalscorers bombed out on loan, other senior payers left to laguish in the reserves whilst we have been struggling..... madness!

So whats going on then???? How difficult is it to arrange a game of football?... can we have our forum names on the backs of our shirts so we know who we are kicking... I mean tackling/marking. Can I suggest that if there are any particularly lumpy bits of the ground I could play in that position to flatten them out a bit!!

He's a docker - of course he did n't! The translation barrier is something he is totally oblivious too!!

???????? Not sure thats quite right is it? -Even this season I'm not sure you can say that the football has been crap? The results have been crap but the football - no certainly not crap? I have watched saints all my life too and can't remember us playing crap football - Through the decades we have had some of the games great players play for us so really don't get your view

The Club will never be finished - the PlC may finish!!! look at Aldershot and Accrington and AFC Wimbledon to see that Clubs don't finish and die!! COYR

Obviously a skilled marketing team/board would have found away of appeasing those st holders that moan - and running incentives to get people back through the gate. Trouble is we dont have either - Luker is a dunderass and as for the board well, as I have said before, I am still trying to get over the .. we will close the corners.. as a way forward. The club are hiding behind the alledged season ticcket holder revolt as a way of keeping the price high - no other explanation. It is late feb and if they had had any organisation or fore thought they would have already sorted out next seasons season tickets. LUKER must go - get some one in who A: Cares B: Knows what they are about

Why can we suddenly afford to play Saga ?
ooohTerryHurlock replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
... I agree entirely with your comment - lunacy in setting a young lad up for that sort of fall. If saga (or one of the other two frontline strikers) had been in the squad for the whole season we would not be in this mess - saga's record is about 2 goals every three games? It is all we have needed - we in the stands knew that at the start of the season - so why the **** it has taken those allegedly in the know until January to figure it out is beyond belief. 4 4 2 at home - the total football system away and we would have been touching the play offs - not ****ing sweating our knackers off at the other end!!!! -

...appear on grand designs! -
I think we should try to remember that although his English is good (probably better than most on here) he is from the Netherlands so some of what he says may get lost in translation - give the guy a break and lets see if we can get out of this mess!
-
Richard Dryden was quite chubby as well!
-
are you Ian Branfoot? He tried having two Iain dowies - well one was called Paul Moody - don't remember them scoring loads though??:smt082

You must have been at a different game to me as well? thought he was good today - thought they all were good. Get off his back and get behind the team!
-
I think we finally had the rightblend today - youth and experience. His programme notes were convincing and if we can build on today then I think we have a chance - i remember the season when we had n't won a game for ever and finally we beat Newcastle 1-0 with stomper taking a penalty and it turned our season. Today could prove the turning point so lets try to be positive for a change - some on here seam desperate for us to fail. One of the main problems has been not taking our chances - and DMG has born the brunt of most of the criticism but to be fair it has been a hard ride ploughing the furrow by himself. Lowe and Wilde still want shooting for loaning out John, Rasiak and Saga - but at least the latter is back now and doing the bizz - he could turn out to be the new pahars in the fans eyes. The football we play has generally been quite good but just without a cutting edge but we seam to have rediscovered that today. We have enough time and games and can drag ourselves out of this mess but we need to be behind the team and manager 100% - how good was the atmoshere in the ground in the second half? THe club isn't dead until the heart stops beating and it certainly was beating in the stadium today so lets believe that we can get out of this mess!
-
...Yes I think the reason was his attitude stinks?... talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face. He's no world beater granted, but have we had anything in on loan that has improved our squad more than the lad dyer could offer? answer? A resounding no! We would have had a decent squad more than able to cope with this div, if we had shown some ******** infront of the bankers! the current global financial meltdown shows what idiots in banks know about anything - so convincing us to get rid of our best players- or us convincing them? whichever way round it was has achieved nothing! And has certainly not hepl save us more like accelerated our trip to oblivion!

Best thing I've seen on hee in ages - side splitter!

Yes and no!

The Express is **** they have little left to write about after all the trash they wrote about the mccanns and Diana - I would nt even use their paper to wipe my arse! The sports pages crap. what does some second rate hack no anything about this club?
-
I'm not talking about Lowe selling to crouch - he would be selling to us - the 'customers'... and at a good price. Admin is not the way forward. We don't need that process. But we need unity.
