That said, I think Davis has been a brilliant servant to this club.

This is brilliant, by the way. It's a tough listen, and not as instantly grabbing as Bros by Panda Bear, but it's pretty stunning once you're immersed. I'm surprised Pitchfork only gave it 7.9.

I still think he'll be off in the summer. Didn't Beckham do the same thing before going to Real six months later? It's probably good business by both parties.

Bale was a much better player than Matty was in the games I saw him in. Saw Matty a lot in the early years but Bale, at that age, bossed it from left-back.

I caught Everything Everything at Bestival and they're very different live than on record. The album is pony.

You have to be really thankful that, hopefully, we will never, ever, be in a desperate position such as that again. Hopefully, we'll be able to produce a player in the same ilk as Bale at some point in the near future and maybe we'll be able to hold on to him.

The 90s was a magical time. The Dell was always an awesome experience. Every time I saw the luscious pitch, the hairs on my neck stood on end. This cannot be said about the St Mary's, but I guess the alcohol has something to do with numbing my senses. Who remembers the Philips blimp above the ground when Sky were in town? Craig Maskell is still kicking about in the lower tiers of English football.

He was world class in Euro 2004 but has never fulfilled his true potential. I think he's become disillusioned with the game and I wouldn't be surprised if his career fails to make it past the 30 mark.
