I disagree with that. Most youngsters these days, in my opinion, have their heads turned by the big boys, regardless of how amazing a club's structure is or will be in the future. Clubs like the big four are huge worldwide brands. It's not just the prestige of playing for a successful club, it's the breathtaking, and lucrative, opportunities that come with it. A lot of the young lads now are part of the Fifa generation - they'll go to a bigger club for the limitless marketing possibilities that will come their way. Look at Walcott, he appeared on the front cover of one of the most popular video games of all time, featured in countless adverts and got top-quality gear thrust upon him by Nike. This all becomes a massive part in moving to a big club and a lot of lads will not turn it down. It's not just about the club, it's becoming a star. They won't get that here.

When was the last time this club held on to a highly-rated youngster? I think most posters on here have more than enough reasons to be cynical.

I've only been to the cinema twice in about 3 years. I saw Toy Story 3 though, it were proper bo like.

I rarely get to see Saints these days but watching him on Saturday was infuriating. He was far too deep and sometimes out wide. What's the point of having a "goal machine" if he is rarely in a position to benefit from service. He shouldn't be creating the service, imo.

Saints were pretty awful but it has got to be an off day.

Call me a cynic but it was obvious this was going to happen, from my point of view. A very strange tale that's akin to last year's post office murder.

The problem with The Vaccines is that they're playing the same kind of music the Yanks produced in the early 00s (Walkmen/National/Exploding Hearts...). Now the NME are championing them as some sort of saviours. To me, they sum up the British rock scene. No originality, no excitement.

It stinks.
