  1. I've got a feeling it's going to be Leonardo.
  2. Strange people.
  3. Based on speculation? Face it, we are never going to find out the truth. I agree with you getting behind the Saints but it's ridiculous to change your opinion of Alan Pardew based on a few words on a screen. Unless either party comes out with their side of the story, the only thing us fans can focus on, as hard as it is, is the next match and pray the situation is sorted out as soon as possible. We can debate on here until our fingers are nothing but bleeding stubs but it's going to get us nowhere.
  4. lol Saints fans. Gotta love the fickle morons.
  5. He was dreadful against Bristol Rovers.
  6. Isn't Craig David 29 and this Glenn chap 25? How were they in the same class?
  7. This site is a smouldering ball of airless conjecture. The situation really isn't worth all this fuss. We'll get a new manager soon enough and everyone will have forgotten about Pardew in a flash. We won't get Martin O'Neill (for some reason a lot of fans think we have a divine right to employ any manager we want) and it's highly unlikely we'll get someone proven at a high level. I think Cortese will employ a continental manager out of the blue, much like the Jan Poortvliet appointment.
  8. Cortese is keen on Ramon Vega, according to the Spurs forum: http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=63031

    Arcade Fire

Funeral is horrible. Neon Bible was weak. The Suburbs is the only Arcade Fire material I've been impressed with.
  10. I don't think it applies when we're playing away from home. The Daily Echo have pictures from the game.
  11. Looking back on it, Hammond's not that good and Fonte is too good for this level. Thank goodness Barnard scored, otherwise his drought probably would have gone on for months.
  12. Nursing a jager headache this morning but we played really well. Guly was woeful though. He even looked off the pace in the half time warm up. He simply cannot control the ball. Hopefully this is just nerves and a lack of sharpness, which will come hopefully. Well done to the morons who threw food at the Bristol Rovers lads warming up.

  14. "Guly, oo ah ah, ting tang, wala wala bing bang"
  15. They called their dog Noo Noo because it eats everthing, just like a vacuum cleaner. Made me lol.
  16. If only we had a shirt sponsor this year, we'd be using that money to treat our pitch. Alas.
  17. I used to watch Fleeing New York at the Institute union bar in by student days. I caught a glimpse of the Band of Skulls track on MTV2 a few weeks ago and was quite impressed. Beats the Delays.
  18. Some fans are never satisfied.
  19. The dross that is Carl Barat's new song: http://luminousplectrum.blogspot.com/2010/08/carl-barat-run-with-boys.html I predict the Klaxons album isn't going to be as good as its cover art.

    Results Day

Chin up to all those who haven't achieved what they wanted. I didn't work as hard as I should have done at school and college and it wasn't until I started going to university that something actually switched and I worked my arse off. Working hard is easy and I regret that I didn't have that mentality when I was younger. Don't get me wrong, I didn't get bad GCSE and A-levels, in fact they were pretty good, but with a bit more will power and motivation, I could have been achieving As all round. Ah well. Luckily, the hard work I put in during university, and outside of it, have got me where I am today. Skint, but in a job I've always wanted to do.
  23. Telegraph's obit for Markus: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/sport-obituaries/7950756/Markus-Liebherr.html
  24. I am so glad I don't know who you are because you are quite clearly the lowest of the low. I will not get into this on a thread respecting the passing of Markus' life. Markus resurrected this club and provided a much needed injection of hope, happiness and fun into a club that provided so much negativity. Football was fun again. Seeing Saints at Wembley last season was a truly momentous moment for a lot of young fans on here that weren't around the first time around and that was all down to Markus. So perhaps rather than questioning my feelings on this great man's death, perhaps you should have taken the humane route and kept quiet. RIP.
  25. Football died today.
