Are you kidding? I'd say I'm proud to be a Southampton fan, considering I'm actually from Southampton. I've been living in Somerset for the past two and a half years and EVERYONE supports Liverpool - some 200 miles away from where they were actually born and brought up. Now that's embarrassing. There's nothing more cringe-worthy than walking past a pub here when Liverpool are playing to see it decked out in red shirts. I just don't understand how you can have that much a connection to a club having lived in the city, only watched the team on TV and only been to a handful of games.

Nigel is doing all he can with the players he inherited from Pardew. They're really good players but clearly not performing. Lambert has looked poor since the very first game of the season, and this definitely isn't Adkins' fault. I'm pretty certain Adkins would have a higher win ratio if Lambert was the player Pardew had last year.
