  1. Quite simple, it can happen to anyone, I chose Man Utd because their record was similar, we both finished 8th and two seasons later were relegated (we finished 20th, they finished 23rd).
  2. Why because he posts good points that you disagree with? You ask him to read things as they are intended, you should do the same. Good to see you have changed your 'facts' to 'unlikely' which I agree with but until they are mathematically out of the tournament they still have a chance of qualifying and that's a fact.
  3. Have to agree with this, as with saints you never know what's going to happen.
  4. Agreed, keep it open.
  5. They have a point, most fans would have booked flights and hotels by now. Being fu*ked about a week before travel isn't the best thing to look forward to and not knowing where you are going doesn't help.
  6. I remember Man Utd getting relegated 2 years after finishing 8th. Alpine thinks we are the only club where sh1t happens.
  7. Derby did not have a hatful of chances, they were lucky we only beat them by the odd goal. Derby were sh1t and barely had a shot at goal.
  8. Absolute codswollop, if Lowe left today you can guarantee their will not be an extra 5,000 fans at SMS on Saturday. The only way that will increase is by winning a few games and moving into the playoffs. As for using the percentage figure to show we have the worst attendance in the CCC try using the average figure where we are currently 14th, this will be a better figure to work on as there are so many different size stadiums in the CCC and with ours being one of the biggest it is no surprise we will be lower in the percentage stakes.
  9. About the same odds of us actually being taken over, 1,000,000-1.
  10. Filling up the tank before every game I attend.
  11. Not an equilateral triangle then.
  12. So it's the aliens that are taking us over, sorted.
  13. Don't you mean rumours.
  14. Well we've had two wins from our last three games so all we need to do is continue that form to reach that target.
  15. Deleted
  16. What makes you so sure administration is inevitable? We should be alright for this season and we will see what happens in the summer, however if you have some information some of us are not privy to please post it on here.
  17. Coventry had no choice as they were over £40million in debt with no assets and were 30 minutes away from administration.
  18. Jethro is brilliant imo, hope you enjoyed it. I was at the Lee Evans gig on Friday (NIA), absolutely brilliant and three hours of pure enjoyment and comedy.
  19. You make some good points but the idea for some of us to buy a season ticket is to lower the price as loyalty for paying up front, this allowing the club to plan the next season based on sold ticket sales. A game costs me about £16.00 compared to the £26.00 for matchday ticket sales. I agree we need to look at how we can fill the ground but I think a lot of fans have become disillusioned with the footy on offer at the moment. That said we should look at lowering the price to entice some fans back, £16.00-£18.00 seems a fair price to me. Season ticket holders can be encouraged to bring mates, family etc by having reduced prices like a tenner for every one they can get to attend. Whatever happens something needs to be done to improve attendances other than improved football and results.
  20. The most sensible post on this thread.
  21. TBF we are undefeated in our last three home games but I tend to agree, a slight drop in prices would not equate to a large rise in attendances although it would tempt a few.
  22. Agreed on both accounts
  23. Couldn't agree more even though I am a season ticket holder, we need more bums on seats so it should be made more affordable.
  24. Working on those figures the Wednesday v. Forest game would of cost £12.00 each, is this correct? Would certainly get more bums on seats if this is the case.
  25. Perhaps you need to read posts more carefully, alpine said we were riding high before Lowe came to power and it's been downhill since he arrived. The facts are to show whether you agree or not on the downhill part of his post so is not insignificant to the whole picture. Still if you use the relegation and not the the previous eight years as the only fact then it is not worth discussing.
