What experiment would that be, that the bank said we had to cut back on everything possible to save money or do you know of another experiment that I have missed. Remember if Crouch or any other person without funding was running the club under the same circumstances we would be in the same situation as Lowe and co.

Now 4 on here and 6 on TMS and very soon I will be oughta here
-
Whether or not you know of these 40-50 supporters who are staying away I suspect it's to do with the footy on offer and most will not return if Lowe left tomorrow.
-
Please provide evidence for his interference, if not stop posting your anti-Lowe bile.

Are we going to shoot the board?
-
Then you would choose another restaurant, would you choose another club? Chances are you would NEVER go back to the restaurant. You really cannot compare the two.
-
Kind of guessed you'd agree.

Well you have given your reasons why you will not attend, however spending 3-4 hours a fortnight watching your team is not excessive and can certainly be squeezed into any family's programme but I cannot see how you know your daughter, nephew, grandchildren etc will not attend in the future unless you are going to brainwash them. What happens when your daughter when in her teens ask you to take her to SMS, will you say no because of YOUR principles. Grow up ffs, you can still have family values for the remaining 330 odd hours in the fortnight.

Have you tasted the beer at Bolton?
-
Not sure myself but the OS will probably update us on Sunday.
-
Wrong on both accounts, 2-1 saints.
-
Some games our finishing has let us down more than the defending.
-
Have to agree really, we have played some good football which has been entertaining to watch, if only our finishing was a bit better then we would have a few more points on the board.
-
Me included.
-
I don't know where you get this from, I think it's divided down the middle of wanting him back or not but you are correct that the crowds being down is due to the football on offer and not the Lowe effect.
-
He may have made a few (not many as you say) foolish decisions but he also made some good ones, does he answer to them as well
-
I'm sure the fans will be back in the unlikely event that we should make it to the premiership again. As for destroying the club I'm sure their intentions were for the best and not intentional and are working out the best possible scenario to sort the mess out.

alpine in 'nothing constructive to add' shocker.
-
Vast being an over exaggeration. Our gates are mainly down due to performances on the pitch, the 26% will not return if Lowe up sticks and left, only when performances improve and we move up the table considerably.
-
9 Matches with less than 20k last season: 3 games with 17k 4 games with 18k 2 games with 19k
-
Very few.
-
Correct on all accounts. The better the results the higher position the bigger gates.

You say you hate the guy but have you actually met him? I can understand it if you hate murderers, rapists etc without actually meeting them but to hate a fellow saints fan because he is holding a rallying call is a bit low. We need fans more than ever right now and I don't need to say why as we all know why. Yes some fans cannot afford it these days, have work committments, live too far away, the credit crunch and some won't return because of Lowe and co but there is a lot who won't attend because of where we are in the league, results over the last year and the opposition etc but if we draw the skates or Man Utd in the third round of the FA cup at home you can bet your bottom dollar it will be a selll out with some fans moaning if they don't get tickets. By the way the attendance has not dropped from 32k to 14k since Lowe returned, the actual figure has dropped from 21k to almost 16k since he returned.
-
What they could do is try it for two or three games to see if it does increase ticket sales and revenue, if it works extend it over a longer period but if not then revert back to the original plan.
-
I've been saying this on other threads, a change of board without investment will not increase crowds only performance on the pitch. The anti Lowe brigade is only a small minority, the performances over the last year has affected attendances.
