I have taken many a neutral to games over the seasons including games against Wycombe, Yeovil, Tranmere to name but a few this season so if I brought one for these surely they are entitled to one for this game, they do have to travel with me from the midlands and they do it several games a season without supporting the club. FWIW if I got the extra ticket it will be my daughter who will get it and shes a saints fan.

Chris evans bored you that much did he, should change radio stations
-
Correct and he probably doesn't care what a few footie fans think either whilst counting his millions, good luck to him and he does have a chance this year.
-
Didn't think this season was about promotion but of stability after starting with a -10 points. If we make the playoffs it will be a bonus and I believe the players brought in have probably been told the same before signing on. A final at wembley and a win against portsmuff will be a bonus this season and we haven't taken the Johnstones paint trophy lightly this season. Next season will see the big push should we not achieve it this season imo.
-
I agree with this, I remember last season when we were struggling to half fill our stadium, where were the fans then? To say we shouldn't get two tickets is hypocritical to say the least. If there are no tickets left for the JCL's then tough.
-
It just states what the minimum a season ticket holder can expect, the club will decide on how the others will be distributed whether season ticket holders get the offer of more than one or not. Only time will tell and I for one would expect the offer of two tickets.
-
Me too and that's to be able to buy two tickets at the first opportunity.

Well their fans didn't make too much effort at the weekend what with the ground only half full, best fans in the country, you couldn't make it up. Any draw against our arch enemies is a big deal no matter when we play them as most on here have agreed, if you think not then you are in a minority, just look at the amount of groups going around on facebook about this tie, it means a lot to a lot of fans and it won't have any effect on our season at all whether we win or not. Most of the players will not understand the passion the fans have over this game and will treat it as another cup game which is winnable, us fans will see it differently. Also our cup tie a few years ago was as equally good as 1996, every game is exciting against them, I can't wait for the game.
-
No they are not perfectly set up for cup ties just been lucky thats all. So they won it a couple of seasons ago whats their overall record over the last 40 years? Sh1te basically. A few of the players will be on their way out before they play us so it will be interesting what is left to field, as we are the underdogs though we have nothing to lose and we can turn them over, bring it on.
-
I would suggest most saints fans would of done the same, unfortunately we only tend to hear about the minority trouble makers in the media/press. Well done to those that were involved, a credit to the colours.

Absolutely, the fact it took us 8 games to record our first win speaks volumes, we were already 10 points behind everybody else before kick off, in fact the first 10 games had us as W1, D6, L3, we were still on a minus after 10 games and our lack of pre season reflects this. Since then we have averaged 2 points per game, put that into the remainder games and that has us finishing on 71 points. If we get to the play offs that will remain a bonus for me, getting to wembley seems a better bet at the moment and I'll take that at the moment.

Can we be truly successful with Morgan AND Lallana

Don't think Antonio is the answer for starting every game, has made more of an impact coming on rather than starting a game. -
You have to laugh at a premiership club sweating over a £2million payment like it was life or death. You also have to laugh when they claim the money is owed to them and the PL have no right to withhold the payment yet they (skatesmouth) withheld payments owed to other clubs for so long.
-
Burley also sold £20million of players, I point this out as you mentioned the spend and selling of players under the current regime but only the spend under Burley, just like to keep the record straight. I agree with your first paragraph though
-
This just about covers everything for me. If we get a playoff place that will be a bonus but not the end of the road if we don't. Hope for a place at wembley and honsetly think we can overcome MK over 2 legs and beat Leeds in the final. Not tooo bothered if we lose to Ipswich on Saturday but a win will be another bonus if not a fixture pile up. Onwards and upwards
-
Utd lost to a team 2 tiers below them just like we beat a team 2 tiers below, same equation really but you would expect Utd to win than lose as opposed to a saints win/lose.

See you don't change with your responses

Well said Colin, my sentiments as well.

Yep just like all those other offers we had in the past

I haven't missed the point at all, the club obviously had difficulty in estimating the uptake of this game hence the closure of some areas, seems more fans are now interested in the game as was previously estimated. Perhaps even you can understand this. If we beat Luton and then draw one of the big clubs you are certain to get your own seat but as I said you are only guaranteed your own seat for league games. Enjoy the game from a different view, I will -

You bought your season ticket for league games not cup games, HTH -
He had to so Chelsea can continue to play in the champions league. Michael Platini has said all contesting clubs in the champions league had to break even in football business by 2012 or risk being booted out of the competition.

I'm sure there will be a scramble for tickets should we despatch Luton and draw Man Ure in round 4......... -
Well he couldn't find it the last time here
