I reckon it will depend on the player rather than the club. Will he (Lallana) want to stay or bench warm a premiership club?
-
I disagree with you here as I was also in a good position to see these decisions and there was at least TWO offsides given where he was clearly onside and had beaten their defenders who were constantly pushing up. I reckon he would of scored one of those chances with only the goalie to beat. Mind you that miss in the first half............

That's an excellent site, cheers for that. I normally use upthesaints for all our past scores and league tables but not sure its 100% accurate.
-
One team has to go through in a cup tie and the only way you can do that is win your tie no matter how you do it so yes we did beat Torquay otherwise we would not have played Charlton in the next round
-
Yep any team playing us need to score more than three goals to stand a chance of winning, apart from Brighton (hiccup) I can't see either of these two teams managing this.
-
Well my bus has been on the road for the last few seasons unlike yours which has been idle in the layby for the last few years but yes I agree with you, we should be going into every game expecting to win.

Play a reserve team against Northampton..?
saintwarwick replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
Agree with you on this, only rest players if they are injured. Players in the 70's/80's never complained about playing too much, they complained if they were left out of the team. Bring on a cup run no matter what cup imo. -
Paul Hart Just sacked and lefted the ground

Wasn't he "sacked" because he was apparently talking to a premiership club? -

Your first two sentences are absolutely correct, I'll disregard the third as I see no relevence to the thread. -

Your question mark means even you are unsure it was definately

No what actually happened was our sister company went into administration not the football club, we tried to use the loophole that Derby used many years ago, however we did deserve the 10 point penalty. What was wrong was not being able to appeal if that was the case.
-
Well said Verbal and yes Delldays has ignored your points.

Although it was there as a deterrent to each other I don't think either were stupid enough to press the button.

I was living in Munster when the wall came down and the euphoria amongst the locals was amazing and parties shot up that lasted weeks (although germans didn't need much to celebrate). I remember visiting West Berlin in the late seventies/early eighties and looking over to see the grey dim city that was East Berlin. To me the East Germans and other eastern bloc countries seemed like prisoners waiting to escape, that happened the day the wall fell. I also have a genuine piece of the wall.

Nail on head imo although half the team that will be in Africa will somehow pick up an injury and won't be available for this friendly until the next league match. Sunday can't come quick enough though. -
I reckon the rest iof the world knew anyway even if the Mail has him down as number 1 (or 6?)

Not too sure about a legend forever but he certainly would of been remembered for it just like two penalty takers had they taken their chances in the shoot out....................

I thought Lowe put our sister company into administration not the football club? Did he (Lowe) not try to use the same loophole that Derby used to success some years ago? Being denied a right of appeal shows what a tw*t that Lord Mal Whingebag was even if we deserved the points deduction. Good riddance I say.
-
Although on Sky you can't beat the atmosphere from being at the game, hopefully we can overcome the new manager syndrome just like we have beaten the Sky jinx this season.
-
I agree, he installed the death penalty on 10 innocent people so it's only fitting he received the same punishment, as you say good riddance no real loss just taxpayers money saved.
