Why, he was just doing his job. Does that make you a smug pr*ck for doing your job? Also I'm still waiting for an answer from my previous reply to a post from you.
-
Capacity is about just over 7,600, we are entitled to 15% as it's a cup game so we will get about 1,150.
-
You seem to have a habit of reminding us of our defeats so why shouldn't we remind you of our wins, works both ways you know
-
Is that why he is playing for a championship club then rather than a league one club? Seems some managers think differently to you. He had some bad games for us but he also had some good games, obviously you missed the good ones.
-
I'm sure they have but you can always write to them and ask what has happened to your shares and are they worth anything.
-
You really haven't got a clue have you.
-
He's not the tallest bloke in the world so to score from a header meant it wasn't as simple as you make out plus he still has to put it away, many a tall striker miss simple headers.
-
So you based your thoughts on 20 minutes of play, well done.
-
One of Walsall, Kettering, Oxford Utd (or City should they win today), Northampton or Rushden and Diamonds away will suit me.
-
Good shout and I would like them as well being just down the road but they don't join until the third round

Really or is it possible cheerful threads can be posted? Read into it how you want but we have had to put up with the doom and gloom threads so it's just great we can see light at the end of the tunnel and happiness has returned to our club. Bring on the cheerful threads I say and hope Nick is able to update us every week with more of the same.
-
Do you have any evidence they were up front with the money before Pinnacle?
-
And you'll be the first on here to to start a thread to remind us so please don't be so miserable when we are on a winning streak and someone starts a cheerful post about how we are doing. If you find the smugness and sermonising tedious then don't reply but as you are one of the first to slate the manager/players when we are on a losing streak you have to realise happy clappys like us should be alowed to start cheerful threads as well as you starting doom and gloom threads.

I agree with you benjii seems a few on here no nothing about how insolvencies work, still let them carry on with their unfound rants.
-
The original poster above was referring to those clubs higher than us in the pyramid that could effectively sell more tickets than our average attendance. The clubs you mention apart from Plymouth don't have the capacity to do this.

Who knows what Pearson could of done for us last season after trimming the squad and no money to spend, we may have survived who knows but its history. Yes he got Leicester promoted but they had a better financial backing than we had, we were ****ing against the wind all season and it could of been just the same under Pearson. Good luck to him I say and lets see where he finishes at the end of the season however lets just concentrate on what Alan Pardew can do for us, thats all that counts for me.

In civilian life french and yanks are no different in my experience, both nice friendly. However my experience with french and american forces show this to be different as the french tend to keep themselves to themselves whereas the american forces have total respect for our forces and they stand out for me. Give me a yank over a frenchman anyday.

The thing is before this season the last 40 years have been spent in the top two divisions (mainly Div 1) so it would have been difficult for you to witness it bearing in mind we have started in round three during that time
-
I thought Sky were showing the whole series, guess I wasn't paying attention. Sky are showing the France New Zealand game live followed by highlights of the England game. As I work nights I shall record the game on BBC but might just watch the highlights when I get up.
-
Lowe didn't leave us in the sh1t financially when he was ousted hth. Be interesting to see how many pompey players will have to leave in the transfer window leaving them with a reserve squad for the remainder of the season. It just gets better
-
I don't have a problem with it I am just posting facts that 'football' is loved all over the world except North America. Seems you are getting wound up on this
-
As others have said who would we drop if he came back? Someone suggested he'd have Surman over Wotton but they both play different positions and a different game. We are on a winning streak and hope it continues, if it ain't broke don't fix it, ask KK some years ago at Newcastle he tampered when it wasn't broke.
-
But the 'whole' world does love football except North America, hth

Brilliant hat-trick
