  1. I have read 244 as above, are you quoting from the club or is this your input? Either way most posters on here agree with the rules as they are, the only one who can change the ruling on half time smoke breaks outside of the ground is SFC and not this website. The originator of this thread took a chance and got caught then vented his frustration on this website which is fair enough because this messageboard is all about discussion, but for him to then have a go at people who agree with the rules is a bit rich. If he has contacted the club then he should await replies from the them before acting irrationally.
  2. But he wants a change in the rules, since when has saintsweb been allowed to change the rules
  3. And is it not too much to ask him to wait for 2-3 hours for a fag considering he has another 300 hours+ before the next home game to smoke himself to death. If he has a problem why doesn't he write to the club rather than moan on here about the ban where most of the supporters agree with this ban.
  4. Pot, kettle, black?
  5. You are not banned from smoking just banned from blowing poisonous toxic fumes in peoples faces in enclosed spaces, you have a massive wider area you can smoke in without the need to use the smaller enclosed areas to smoke in.
  6. You confuse me, you want confirmation that Cork is staying but the OS is not giving it so when I quote that the OS has not confirmed he has not left indefinately you say I have nothing to say. As for sneer pedantically at others you really have to look and read most of your own posts, you will find you invented those two words and work them to an art. Have a nice day.
  7. Has the OS confirmed he has gone back definately? Hm......
  8. If you check the poster he makes no mention of where he has gone or when but hang on, check the time he posted and the date...maybe celebrating the new year in and maybe in high spirits, just a thought but of course blame the management of this club for someones course of joviality.
  9. Your absence was more constant than your attendance that is a fact.
  10. I agree with you  Steven Gerrard must of been provoked and even the lamest of person will retaliate at some point. As for the punishment let's wait to see if he is guilty first.
  11. Don't see a problem with that as some smokers are hell bent on breaking the law.
  12. I have never seen one single steward in the bogs in all the years I have attended SMS, maybe they know you as a smoker and are keeping an eye on you, you afterall have admitted to getting kicked out in your first post due to getting caught in the act.
  13. He must be a good one as he is keeping you inside the concourse in a queue waiting for a beer or two, if you were outside with your mates smoking you wouldn't be spending money. As for the smoking ban it was law set by the government, your act of taking a quickie could of cost the club £1,000 which is a lot more than your entrance to the game plus a couple of pints. You've already admitted the club needs all the money it can generate yet you were happy to gamble with that grand. If you cannot wait 2-3 hours for a fag then you need help and this from a former smoker who has flown many a transatlintic flight and spent years working in an environment (with ammunition) which restricted me to three fags during a working day.
  14. He can get up to five years but I doubt he would get anything more than a fine IF found guilty.
  15. So someone offers a different opinion to you they are classed as Lowe's PR team, priceless.
  16. The way I read the link Coppell has said realistically Reading are not going to win the cup so he is looking at making wholesale changes. Looks like he is resting a lot of his potential promotion side and treating the cup as a hinderence for that promotion push which is worth more than advancing in the cup. We may even get him back if Reading lose against Cardiff.
  17. You gotta start somewhere.
  18. What was your honest reason when you lived locally
  19. Excellent post, just one point though the strikers you mention out on loan surely has to be a better option than what we have (or don't have) at the moment.
  20. In the Star today, WBA and Stoke to slug it out for the loan of Harewood. I'm sure with our financial clout and position within the football league we will beat them to his signature...
  21. Absolutely, it seems to some he is guilty before being charged. Let's wait for the full facts before passing judgement.
  22. I must admit we have had some cracking wins over united but I'm going for 1976.
  23. I'd go along with that lot but I would have to keep number six hidden from the wife
  24. I'd agree with that, if he can find the form from two years ago when we first got him we might just win some home games.
  25. I prefer your version, best goal by a saints player. I tend not to remember goals scored against us.
