  1. Last season you said you would return whan Burley left, what will be your excuse when "Jan the man that can't" gets replaced by Billy Davies....
  2. You missed Surman's effort of the post then with the goalie beaten (assuming you meant chance), still if you did miss that effort then I would agree with what you have just said.
  3. Huge wage bill and bonuses, something affordable in the premiership but not the championship.
  4. Absolutely, without them we would not exist at all.
  5. He was refering to the fans only bothering to turn up for the forest game to get united tickets, we won't see these again unless we beat united and draw Arsenal in the next round, if we had beat Forest we would still be loking at 15k for the next home game.
  6. I think you'll find all the players care but as most of them are kids and before this season were playing in front of a handful of supporters, the fact they are now playing in front of thousands of supporters has put a heavy burden on their shoulders. To say they don't care is total crap, lost, bewildered, not good enough yes but not caring, sorry you are wrong.
  7. I'm not defending Lowe but how can you say he is destroying the club? Most fans on here who hate Lowe say he is only in it for the money so if he destroys the club how is he going to make money? I think most if not all will agree that Lowe, Wilde and Crouch should disappear altogether and bring someone fresh in but where is this alternative and why has that person/persons not moved quickly to settle the unrest amongst the fans, simple answer, there is no alternative.
  8. Then why has Gavin Davies not done anything about it?
  9. And how many football clubs have gone out of business over the last 40 years?
  10. How long are we going to put up with this shower of sh1te.
  11. So did the £7m+ spent oversee the £20m+ players we lost as worth?
  12. My money is on money...
  13. How can you get fed up with something you don't participate in?
  14. I see where you are coming from now, it was how it appeared amongst this thread that made it look the other way around.
  15. And what straws would that be? I also don't remember any manager talking about "we are doomed", we will get relegated, we are going to lose 6 from our next 10 games...
  16. Your post using the 8 game stat (22nd) actually see's us worse of than the 6 game stat (18th) unless I've missed something. As I said the only stat that can give a true reflection is the latest table, that don't lie
  17. Burley seemed to get the best out of strikers (defence was a different story!!!) and I have to agree about Fuller's fitness but why did it take him so long to actually get fit?
  18. You can use any amount of games to suit your argument but the most important figure to use is the latest league table, that show's us in 21st position and out of the relegation spots (for now )by four points. This is one stat that cannot be distorted.
  19. I know what I saw of Fuller and he was a lazy sh1t. He scored twice as many goals (6) in his last month than what he managed in his previous eight months (3). Still what do you expect for £92k.
  20. Beattie wasn't a prolific goalscorer in his first couple of years with something like six goals in about sixty games, he tended to fall over at the nearest sign of being challenged, it took him his third season to really start playing.
  21. He is offering a debate, perhaps you should join in and offer your opinions rather than your pointless reccuring cheap one liners.
  22. It was reported in the Star today that Bristol City are lining up a cut price £500k bid for the permanent transfer of Stern John. Now I know it's only the Star but if we got that amount of money plus the savings on his wages then that should go a long way to keeping Surman and Lallana.
  23. Maybe they are waiting to see how this game will go in relation to the attendance and the financial gains/losses. As it happens it looks close to a sell out which can only be a good thing money wise so hopefully they will learn from it but we have to win the game if we want the supporters to return.
  24. Mine works out at £16.52 per game, if they charged £15.00 per game for the rest of the season (12 games) it means I will have forked out an extra £18.24, however I have saved a lot more over the previous 11 games even if the results have been sh1te. What they could do is charge £15.00 per game for the rest of the season and offer season ticket holders a gift from the megastore for a value of £20.00-£25.00. That will cost the club about a quarter of a million but they be should be able to recoup that due to higher crowds (results pending) and spending in the concourse and megastore. Just realised not everybody purchased at the early bird offer so I would imagine the gift idea would have to bear in mind who purchased when and at what price .
  25. Only three corners are closed as the family one has stayed open but it will be good if we can open all three again and get a full house which looks a possibility.
