Saints 4 points above relegation. Portsmouth 5

I make it 35 years -
Other than this one another 25 threads have started today and only three of them (12%)are about Lowe/Wilde, the rest are other football related matters. Granted some have been hijacked by the Lowe/Wilde debate but to say these two aliens are keeping this forum going is wide of the mark.

We also had a change of manager, can history be repeated with pompey? -
do we have the most financial restrictions..?

Of course they are all a waste of money Forecast already explained previously but obviously difficult for you to obsolve, Pulis and Gasmi will only be paid when they become involved, Smith I would agree with, Scheiderlin is one of our better players and if you think not then you are clearly blind, I could go on but you are clearly on a wind up. -

My post was in answer to Gemmel's post as highlighted. As for the 11 names published, eight have played a part during this season, Pulis and Gasmi are still injured and Forecast was part of the closure of the Bale deal. You say we had the money to bring these in but we had to replace the ones we shipped out to save money, whereby it through shipping out on loan, contract ceased or players transferred. All those released for one reason or another cost a lot more than the current crop so it's not the case we had the money to spend on these players but merely using some of the money saved getting in cheaper players. Had we not replaced these we would be playing the under 11's. -

I'm sure Pearson would need his own coaching squad as well as himself which would equal more wages. -
God the people on this forum are ridiculous...

So in your opinion Lowe and his mate are only here to make money, If that's the case then the premiership is where to be as that is where the money is. -
He avoided both, most fanatics would shoot or detonate a waistbelt bomb to make their point, guess this chap couldn't afford explosives.
-
Drag act more like it, he certainly doesn't dress up as a footballer that's for sure.

Even in comparison he was still better than tyro league. Maybe you should of said nowhere near or vastly inferior. -
Also with Jones, Hoddle, Strachan......

Pearson wasn't sacked, his contract was up at the end of last season. HTH

That's the problem we don't have any money, we are skint.

I would love Billy Davies to be our manager just like I prefered him when Burley left but sadly we have no money to get that type of calibre in, sadly we have what we can afford plus Davies is not a yes man.

A chairman with new investment or just a new chairman with the same problems?

I think Fernandez was a bit better than Tyro league football but I agree about him never getting to the byline when on the right, this is because he was a natural left footer and he always cut into the middle to deliver the ball with his left peg. -

Absolutely, Channon should be left to the strikers role, Terry Paine for me for RM. -
Have to agree, just a shame he was on the treatment table too often. As you say if Bournemouth can afford his wages then let's get him back here, he is still good and experienced enough and would work well with our kids. I can't believe alpine thought he was completely f**king useless especially from the comfort of his armchair.

Perhaps you should read the link first before posting your spin, that way you will see it was actually Cork speaking

Would you care to elaborate on the highlighted part as I would be very interested, thanks. BTW I won't hold my breathe on a sensible answer.

An excellent post and one that I understand, a pity a few others cannot.

The thing is she hasn't got anything to put on her CV.

I doubt it, they would probably prefer if he gained more first team experience at a lower club like us than be a bench warmer at another premiership club.
