I think we've sold players for inflated prices for the most part. If the club was sold whilst they were still here then wouldn't their value be more accurate and probably lower. The maximum gain is in selling over priced and then just selling off whatever is left? Maybe.

Been speaking with fans of other teams at work today and they can't believe what is happening at Southampton. Unprecedented sale of most of the first team with no-one coming in. If JRod and Schneiderlin go too - I can only assume whomever is in charge of transfers has been told to say yes to every bid, get the most money possible, and move on to the next?

Yeah I looked for it too - perhaps he thought better to not give the current price away in case others were thinking of bidding.

Is he really that good? A good year or so with us but apart from that he's achieved nothing as a manager. He's a huge gamble for Spurs.
