England haven't really played to Adams strengths so far. Exposed his limitations, a lack of real pace and unable to get on the end of high balls. He's used to playing proper football at Saints :-)

I think it's because Koeman is considerably more experience and successful. Bruce just doesn't compare at the moment so it's hard to fathom why we'd go for him instead of Koeman.

People wanted the board to fight for him. That's what they seem to be doing. If he wants to go there is no easy way to make him stay but risk a 'worsening' of relationships. What can they do except ignore him until Liverpool put in the bid they want? Right or wrong, they are playing hard.

On the other hand you could say he's lucky we gave him the chances to prove himself over the years. We've paid his wages and helped him develop. We owe him nothing.

Renew because whatever happens, bad or good, the team will need support! If it's bad you can sing "what the f**k is going on?" like we did under Lowe. If it's good, "oh when the saints!"
