Maybe, but are they really so immature that they can't rise above it? Where is the grit and determination, the loyalty to keep going no matter what? To stand up and be counted. Nope, they've all agreed to go regardless of the impact of it.

I think we can always be glad Markus saved us from extinction. Even though we may struggle for years after this and drop down the leagues again - at least we still have a club!
-
If she was looking to sell the club why not just say so at the start? Why string us along and cause a whole load of hate?

A lot of this - and unfortunately a lock of mockery too. -

I think we have to prepare ourselves for the probability that Koeman will go too. He surely wouldn't have sanctioned all this? -

Been speaking with fans of other teams at work today and they can't believe what is happening at Southampton. Unprecedented sale of most of the first team with no-one coming in. If JRod and Schneiderlin go too - I can only assume whomever is in charge of transfers has been told to say yes to every bid, get the most money possible, and move on to the next? -
The balance has been tipped over. Now it's on BBC I think we can expect Chambers, Lovren, Schneidlerlin and Jrod all to go. The club have clearly lied to us and somethings not right behind the scenes. I just hope Koeman is in on it..
-
What a bizarre situation really. Surely something must be up at the club. I can accept a few wanting to move on but this many raises a lot of questions. All speculation so far though.
-
Yeah I looked for it too - perhaps he thought better to not give the current price away in case others were thinking of bidding.

Poch aiming for the league title with spurs
BotleySaint replied to Bos Vegas Saint's topic in The Saints
Is he really that good? A good year or so with us but apart from that he's achieved nothing as a manager. He's a huge gamble for Spurs. -
Still it could be worse we could be Blackpool

I always wondered why Lovren came here in the first place, leaving a Champions League team behind. £20m is good business if we reinvest it.
-
So, does the usage of Sharp indicate we aren't looking to sign another striker?

Looks like we'll know more about Lovren during next week. Assume he means this Sunday, not next Sunday? -

I feel sick.. Leandre Griffit is now 30 years old! How can that be? It was only yesterday he got that one against Newcastle.... -
Dusan Tadic - DONE DEAL, official and everything

Would be a great first signing by the looks of things. Hopefully he is a creative type midfielder and not just a goalscorer, because with Adam gone that's something we really need. Perhaps as well as this guy. -
You wonder what kind of crazy, unrealistic dream Cortese promised to these players who are now unhappy. Welcome back to reality Dejan!

Very happy to have stripes back. Now we just need some players to wear it.
-
Yeah but didn't we try and play total football with David McGoldrick?

Lallana completes move to LFC for a fee of around £25m
BotleySaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
It is a shame his behaviour in recent weeks was so poor that I do not feel any gratitude to him for the efforts he made for the club. The great moments of last year are soured by his disrespect and idiocy. Perhaps in time. -
[Daily Mail] Saints make formal enquiry to sign Danny Ings
BotleySaint replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Up till last season he wasn't much of a goalscorer at lower levels than the premiership. One good season by the looks of it. Which means it's a massive risk if we are going to rely on him alone as the main source of goals. -
I've been thinking this. For last season we played some great football but so many time we dominated and still lost. We did lack pace and whilst it's hard to replace the technical skill of players like Lallana and Lambert we do at least have a chance to shake things up a bit. So much now depends on who we bring in to replace those that are leaving.

I do feel sorry for Rickie. Betrayed really by Roy. Surely he deserved the last 10 here. Might have even created something. Idiot manager
