I was thinking about starting a similar thread even before the Watford game. I think we have all given DMG stick during the season to score 12 goals in a struggling team is a very good achievement. Probably MOTM last night had it not been for Size's 2 goals.

Lol at them. I think they need to look a bit closer to home before moaning about our support, possibly the worst home support I've ever seen tbh. Also had to laugh at the thread about how far away can the fans at the stadium be heard, i couldn't hear them from the away end let alone from a couple of miles away!

For some reason i have a feeling we'll win this. Dunno what gives me that feeling, maybe the fact we have a pretty decent record at Wolves in recent years. Also Plymouth won there recently & they lost to 10 man Birmingham on Monday. Wolves 1-2 Saints

Got back about 2am last night, well too tired to post anything then. A point gained or 2 lost? Could be either really. Being 2-1 down with 2 minutes left you'd have to say point gained although i felt we controlled large parts of the game & had an awful lot of possesion, unfortuantley possesion doesn't win football matches. It would have been very unjust if we'd lost the game IMO. JPS - awesome! Nice to see a player actually doing it on the pitch after talking it up before! Great free kick - can't wait to see it on TV, wtf Surman didn't let him take the last one i don't know. Thought KD should haved saved the first goal, quite a tight angle for the lad to score from him. Our best players were DMG, Smith & JPS. All our strikers seem to be lacking confidence at the moment, Euell really should have put us ahead before they got their 2nd & Saga didn't look like scoring when he come on. Whats happened to Paterson btw? Since his goal at Ipswich he hasn't seemed to have got a look in. Support was immense last night, probably the best I've been involved in since Derby away in the play offs. Proud to be a part of it.

Has the banner on Skandia House dissapeared too? Couldn't see it yesterday. I see there are now "Come on you Saints" banners on the lamp posts down the high street & also at the cross roads just after Mount Batten Way.

Considering it's only Monday I'd say 16k isn't too bad at this stage. We'd only sold 18.5k for Charlton on Weds last week! I'd expect that number to rise very quickly should we get a win tomorrow night.

Well this really is win or bust. I'm pretty much resigned to relegation anyway after Saturday's result & a defeat here i think will all but confirm it. Alright for some! Don't finish work til 1. Cheapest train fare i've found so far is £18.45 return from Soton Central to Watford Junction via Clapham with 4 of us going using group save.

Me & 3 others getting approx 2pm train from Southampton Central. Should be in Watford about half 3/4ish, we'll be heading for "The Moon Under the Water (wetherspoons)" on Watford high street.

The amount of people who walked out from the Kingsland corner after only the 2nd goal was quite staggering & quite rightly given some stick.

Probably the most nervous i have felt about a game since Sheff Utd last season. Come on Saints - this is the sort of game we normally f*ck up but please not today. Give us a win & performance we can all be proud of & that will bring the crowds back for the last 2 home games. COYR!!!
