As already mentioned, had quite a bit of money last summer & not managed to qualify for the play offs. Boothroyd for me please.

We HAVE to fill the ground for Burnley
saints_is_the_south replied to Legod Third Coming's topic in The Saints
As already posted i was informed by David Luker that we'd sold just over 18k at 9am this morning & at the rate of current sales we are heading for a gate of around 22k. Not anywhere near 25k yet, let alone 30k. The only bit from the posts above i do believe is that the Northam is sold out. -
Just a reminder that Blue Star Buses are also still running the 50p single fare on Saturday.
-
First Forest allocation now sold out. David Luker says that Forest will make a decision on the 2nd allocation on Saturday which is pretty sensible i guess given that we could be down on Saturday & there is no way then we'd sell another 2k.

Just over 18k sold as of this morning, shocking IMO. -
The Run In: All the Games - All the Teams...
saints_is_the_south replied to .comsaint's topic in The Saints
Beating Burnley is a really tough ask IMO, they looked excellent last night. The only way i see us winning is by playing like we did in the first half against Preston. IMO Forest will beat Blackpool & be safe, Barnsley should lose to Wolves and hopefully are a bit down after having a vital 3 points clutched from their grasp tonight. I think Plymouth can beat Barnsley too, but can we win 2 games? I seriously doubt it with this current crop of sh*te. -
And Northampton too climbed out of the drop zone along with Brighton with Carlisle & Crewe replacing them. Northampton isn't going too far to go. Wycombe also won in League 2 and cemented their spot in the top 3 too.

Charity day at Goodies Fish and Chip Shops

Great stuff from Goodies, i should be able to pop along on Sunday. -
Coventry have been pretty dire of late, wouldn't be surprised if Barnsley get something tonight.

Anybody else click on this thread thinking it was going to be good news about a buyer?!?!

A day i'll never forget as long as i live but unfortuantly as Daren W says, this season has just completly p*ssed over it. I honestly thought after that day that with Pearson in charge we'd finally start moving up again until Rupes decided to put pay to all that optimism.

Until the corners are open i assume which would mean about 18.5k sold. -
Aidy Boothroyd would be my man with Paul Ince 2nd choice. Failing those 2 i'd go for Ian Holloway.

I was looking at possible close away games for next season yesterday. If the promotions & relegations work out well we could have 13 games that we could consider pretty close. Charlton MK Dons (if they dont go up) Millwall (if they dont go up) Southend Bristol Rovers Leyton Orient Swindon (if they stay up) Yeovil (if they stay up) Brighton (if they stay up) Brentford (if/when they go up) Exeter (if they go up) Wycombe (if they go up) Gillingham (if they go up) Over half the league. The likes of Walsall, Colchester & Northampton aren't all that far away either.

Davis, not even a contest really. -
+1. Listening on the radio all i could hear was our fans, you guys did us proud up there yesterday. I had given it serious thought about going too but very glad i didn't now.

Morecambe Vs Southampton - League 1 Just says it all really i think.

New stadium for Bristol Rovers? Won't be next season i'm pretty sure of that considering they are building it on the existing Memorial Stadium site. Anyway, some of the closer games include: Charlton MK Dons (if they dont go up) Millwall (if they dont go up) Southend Bristol Rovers Leyton Orient Swindon (if they stay up) Yeovil (if they stay up) Brighton (if they stay up) Brentford (if/when they go up) Exeter (if they go up) Wycombe (if they go up) Gillingham (if they go up) Not all that bad i spose!

Could be quite interesting. Any ideas to show our disgust in the team? Turning our backs to them? I'm personally up getting outside and egging all of their flash cars sat out in the car park.
-
Simon Cox of Swindon or Rickie Lambert of Bristol Rovers. Both got about 25+ goals in League 1 this season. James Hayter at Doncaster also another player who knows how to get goals in that division.

Have to say i really wished i'd waited until today to get my Forest tickets. What a waste of £45 & a waste of a Sunday its going to be, made even worse by the fact we're going on the bingo bus.
