Might have to pop along for this, could be a laugh! Will the concourse be open before the game & during half time? -
How i'd have loved to been around back then to experience that day, something that I'm highly unlikely to experience in my life. Great videos & that picture is now my desktop background at work, cheers!

Petition to Mr Fry. Removal of the Doncaster Train Picture

I'm sure this is the top of Mark Fry's priorities -
If every season ticket holder bought 10 tickets each then surely one of us would win something out of 90,000 tickets!

+1. The Football League don't appear to have much of a clue on what their own rules actually are.
-
Agreed, and whilst it might not be the biggest competition ever it still represents some silverware & i think we should take it seriously. I think we'll see the lowest ever gate at SMS for a competitive fixture for the games though! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_League_Trophy#Winners According to this teams have to play atleast 6 players with the most appearances that season so we'll have to take it seriously anyway.
-
Changed things a little to include back up players, 2 players per position.
-
If i remember correctly the football league were trialling a scheme where teams took 5% of takings from away tickets sold in the lower divisions. I know this was certainly being tried at Bournemouth last season.

I think people could be surprised about Saga. I spoke to him after the Burnley game & he said he'd very much like to say as long as Wotte wasn't incharge. He seemed very keen on returning back in January & had a great little run although did then drop off. Davis i think will certainly stay aslong as we offer him a new deal. McGoldrick is a must keep for league 1, he will bag 20-25+ in league 1. As for comments about the midfield, i think it is strong enough for league 1. What we need is pace & players who can beat players & get to the by line, Thompson & Holmes can both offer this. Schnerderlin & Gillett in the middle would be ideal, one who can pass the ball around & the other to get in the faces of the opposition & break their play up. Saeijs has said he would like to stay despite relegation although someone did say he'd only stay if Wotte stayed. Thomas if fully fit would be perfect in league 1 imo, then 2 youngsters on the wing in Mills who has impressed at S****horpe & Lloyd James who has probably been the most improved palyer this season.

The manager isn't dutch too is he? He'll be giving you boysh instructionsh on how to play ze total footballz -
After reading the potential new signings thread thought i'd start this one. A bit premature i know, but assuming we do get a buyer with a bit of money to keep some of the better players & everything is well going into the summer who would you keep & sell for next season? Likewise who would you buy & then what would your starting XI be? Keep: Kelvin Davis, Tommy Forecast, Chris Perry, Wayne Thomas, Jan Paul Saeijs, Lloyd James, Olly Lancashire, Joseph Mills, Paul Wotton, Lee Holmes, Jason Euell, Morgan Schnerderlin, Simon Gillett, Jake Thompson, Oscar Gobern, Ryan Smith, Marek Saganowski, David McGoldrick, Matthew Paterson Offload: Bartosz Bialkowski, Killer (as a player), Lee Molyneux, Rudi Skacel, Romain Gasmi, Anthony Pulis, Andrew Surman Bradley Wright Philips, Adam Lallana, Grzegorz Rasiak, Stern John. Starting XI: Davis James - Saeijs - Thomas - Mills Thompson - Gillett - Schnerderlin - Holmes Saganowski - McGoldrick Pretty damn good team in league 1 IMO. If Saga were to go then i'd bring in Rickie Lambert from Bristol Rovers. If Saeijs doesn't want to stay then Perry can take his place & Euell or Wotton in place of Schnerderlin if he wants away. Obviously if Surman & Lallana wanted to stay then i'd keep them but being realistic i think they'll go. Opinions? PS - Paul Tisdale for manager.

Potential signing for next season

Good shout on both, another would be Simon Cox at Swindon although they reportedly want a million for him. -
I'm just going on what http://www.footballgroundguide.co.uk says & from previous experiences on visits to these grounds. The terrace at Bristol Rovers holds 933 according to their OS whilst seating for away fans is 265 (can be increased for cup games) so just under 1,200.
-
And we'll be considered giant killers if we beat the fore mentioned teams in the cup too!!
-
+1. Anybody enjoying another team going into administration aren't proper football fans IMO.
-
The away bit at Orient is on the side, not at the end, got 2 new stands there now. One used to be an open terrace for away fans though. Here's a few more Swindon Town Tranmere Rovers Walsall

Some of the away stands for next season... Brighton Hartlepool Leyton Orient Oldham Athletic Stockport County Brentford
