He was giving a quick fire interview before the tournament, you know the type of thing, tea or coffee? dogs or cats? When he was asked world cup or champions league he replied champions league. Tells you all you need to know.

Same here. Had some Welsh dickhead take the **** last night. I just asked him when their first game was, soon shut him up.

Still a few weeks off but I'm starting to really look forward to it now. Just been looking through the route, shame about the lack of time trials, particularly the team TT, but the Pyreneen stages more than make up for it. Two 'classic' Tour stages, including two ascents of the Tourmalet will rip the field to shreds. Clearly the big hitters will be targetting these two days to stamp their authority on the race, but will their teams be able to keep them safe for so long into the race? Should be a classic Tour this year. Any early predictions?

Locally produced honey apparently cures it.

And if its Lucy Pinder you'll probably have a queue:D

Not a bad pile up but not as good as that one where the drivers legs came out of the front in mid air.

Don't think theres anything in the rules about not moving sideways before the kick is taken. Coming off the line is a no-no, but we can usually get a little step in:cool:

Had a reply from Mr Luker. Reason given is that the administrative costs are too high. Sounds like a cop out excuse to me, I just hope the administrative savings outweigh the lost revenue from those that now can't/won't renew.

It seems to me we are in the minority of clubs now in that we don't have a barcode type ticket system. That would be far easier to control, you stop payin, your ticket stops working. Simples.
-
Why would you have saved up when the club had already pretty much said there wouuld be a installment plan available?
-
No they weren't. Thay were paid for with a debit card. If an installment failed, they stopped your ticket.
-
What a lovely attitude. YOu may be lucky not to have been affected but the vast majority of people have been royally screwed by the recession. That means no credit, certainly not a 0% card. And as for the saving up issue, well yes possibly if the club had announced back at the end of last season that would have been a possibility, but for them to announce in the club charter that they would have one in place then to go back on it is not on. YOu may be in the enviable position of having £400 to splash around, I, and many others like me, are not.
-
Have emailed Luker about it, thinking about firing off one to Cortese but doubt he will even read it, let alone digest it.
-
Great, thats me screwed then. This could be a serious mistake for the club, with the current economical problems the country is facing I think a awful lot of people will be in the same boat.
-
Are you Clive Woodward?
-
I've never taken one in anger but I've saved a few. Worst for me was if the striker didn't look at me, just put his head down and smashed it. Unless it's straight at you you've got mo chance, and even if it is straight it's still a good chance you'll have already gone sideways.
-
Thats pretty bloody impressive. You hear stories about how big the OPF is but you can't really put it into perspective until you see that.

Petersfield? Wasn't TCWTB in is new company motor was it?

I'm tempted to apply, although they will have to fund my coaching badges, I will work for next to nothing, the joy of watching their fans weep and wail as I take them through successive relegations down to the conference will be remuneration enough.

If you have trouble parking at the BIC, come back the way you came in, when you get to the first roundabout (the one with the big white hotel, can't remember the name of it) take a left up the hill. There is a car park little way up the hill, always seems to be spaces in there.
