I think recent speculation linking us to 6m+ bids has distorted the minds of some? Beckford is a great player - even proven at premiership level! He would be a fantastic addition to any championship side. Some Saints fans are maybe becoming a little unrealistic? Speculation is one thing; reality still shows we have signed only Fox, Cork and De Ridder! Danger is that with all the speculation/links any signing may now be a little underwhelming?
