Zero tolerance - I like it!!!
p.s I predict Peter Taylor will be appointed at NC shortly (place your bets now) he knows Sven from the England days and coincidently resigned from Wycombe just a few days ago....
Just seen it on Saints player - defo looks like the keeper had it in his hands. S'end players do protest but no comment from the commentator. weird one, like OP said I would of been ****ed off if it happened against us!!
The last 6 games has seen us produce our best form for some years, yet we are still only the 6th (?) best on form in L1.
Because of our very poor start and -10 start we would need to sit at the top of the form table for the remainder of the season and that is unlikely.
A poor start has cost us - hopefully that will be our 'bad patch' for the season and we can go on a crazy run.....would be grrrrreat (supported Saints long enough to know however its unlikely!)
I think our 'squad' is strong - players that missed the starting 11 last night include Melis, Connolly, Holmes, Saga, Perry, Thomas, Paterson & Gillet (& we still have Murty to come back) I doubt many in L1 can compete for strengh in depth.
at least we have that kind of talent to call on - I doubt if other sides in L1 (or CCC) can call on players like Melis, Connolly, Holmes, Saga, Perry, Thomas, Paterson or Gillet (& we still have Murty to come back)
Oldham (A)
Milton Keynes Dons (H)
Leyton Orient (A)
Brighton (H)
Norwich (H)
Hartlepool (A)
Wycombe (H)
Walsall (A)
Tranmere (H)
Norwich away will be a good test, but our squad is surely the best now in L1?
Even if we win 7 of our next 9 we have a good chance of PO
Form has defo improved and that is great - lets hope it continues and we can start climbing the league. An assult on the play-offs is not out of the question.
Cant imagine that there are many better squads in L1 and we can strenghen again in Jan.
Lets try and all think positive and dream about the possibilities.
