Keeper made a right hash of the goal - should have been a straight forward catch & game over but butter fingers spilt it - thank god. The crosses were shocking saturday and should be top of APs to sort out list. 16 corners and not one decent one - Lambert must be ****ed off

I would definitly start with Holmes! Looked good when he came on Saturday and his balls into the box are desperately needed. Hope AP is working on corners this week as we had 15+ saturday a didnt look likely to score from any. Waigo maybe better used as a winger? Only seen him the once but he looked somewhat clumpsy and his 1st touch is needing work - however he has pace and could be an asset sprinting down the wings? I would maybe look to play Lallana in CM - he is too slow for the wing but does have a decent bit of skill and can pass the ball effectively (when he keeps it simple) I would give him simple instructions - 1. get the ball out to the wide men 2. Keep it simple (dont be too fancy) 3. attack the 18 yard box when we have the ball out wide.

I thought Harding & 2 CBs were quality - impressed me. Harding looks very good and with a good LM in front of him could prove a real find. 2 CBs excel in no nonsense - just what we have needed. Just need to add some pace to the wings and some creativity to the centre of midfield and I think we have a very good team.

How poor were the Carlisle fans - never witnessed such a silent home crowd. Agreed though Saints fans were brilliant. Thought the game highlighted more negatives than positives - Carlisle wont win many this year (poor side) and our creativity, pace and guile in the final 3rd is a worry.

Corners were really really poor today - we have some tall players in our side now yet every corner was cleared by the man on near post or collected easily by keeper.

Just back from the game............ Mixed feelings - thought we were the better side and deserved a point, but same old frustrations. Last 3rd we are poor and lack pace and creativity. The possesion we had (1st half particularly) should have won easily but failed to create any proper openings. Cant remember there keeper (or ours for that) needing to make any saves and that is a worry. Crosses were really poor - had 12+ corners yet didnt get any of them near Lambert....needs work
