Stupidest thing anyone has ever said
Channon's Windmill replied to Crazy Diamond's topic in The Muppet Show
When I was in a bakery buying a donut once I was asked "Do you want that with icing or without?" to which I replied "What's the difference?". I have no idea what made those words come out!! I also once asked my Mum "How do you boil and egg?". I still get reminded of that 20years on. -
Russell Brand's is very funny. He is good writer too.

I'm a SAP BW Developer for Kingfisher. -
Bridesmaids is essentially The Hangover for women, but IMO it is actually funnier than both Hangover films. At the same time though it is also soppy'er than the Hangover films, which lets it down a bit.

Downloading Music - Cheapest/best options
Channon's Windmill replied to Barney Trubble's topic in Technology Chat
iTunes probably is the best in terms of availability - pretty much everything you could possibly search for is available on there. But you can certainly get songs cheaper from other sites such as Amazon. I always check to see if what I want is on Amazon first because 99% of the time it will be significantly cheaper than iTunes. They have a great tool which automatically imports the song into iTunes etc. An example is the Beady Eye album which was £9.99 on iTunes - or £3.99 on Amazon!! No brainer. -
The Master Builder in West End does great food.

So long as it's legal to park on the road; maybe you and your neighbours could park your cars in such a way that it would force people to slow down?

I used moneysupermarket to find some cheap yet comprehensive cover for my trip to Jamiaca last year. I went with Columbus in the end. I will never go with a cheap and cheerfull quote again. It took months of phone calls/emails and arguments to eventually get my claim out of them - they used every trick in the book and all manner of small print to try and get out of paying out. Only my persistence won the day. In short - the next time I buy travel insurance, I will use a well respected insurance company. I know their are no guarantees, but I do feel I would have been better looked after by a bigger insurer. To quote one of the previous replies "you get what you pay for" - I am increasing finding that this is totally true for almost everything!!

They have actually signed him though, somehow?

If you take the price out of the equation and just judge them on their merits, the Mac probably wins (just). But the price is a big factor and you have to ask yourself if the Mac is really worth double that of a good spec Windows laptop.

At the Bompey game last week, I saw a lady wearing a full length, backless, black dress with high heels!! That was in Kingsland North while I was queing for a beer about 10mins before kickoff. I have never seen anything like it at any football match let alone Saints.

I used a hammer. Does the job and is rather satisfying to smash the **** out of something!

Get a dog!

I stand corrected - it's a 24 month contract. Still good value though. They do 12 month contracts for £35 with lots of minutes.
-
For £45 per month on Tesco mobile (same network as O2 so excellent coverage) you can get unlimited calls on a 12 month contract. Cant really beat that!

In a word - no!!

It isnt faulty. I dont have mine in a case and it works brilliantly. Just a load of media hype in my opinion. I think android phones are a great alternative for people who cant afford iPhones
-
I love my iPhone 4, it just works brilliantly and the look and feel of everything is flawless. In my opinion, the other phones are all trying to get up to the level of the iPhone, but one way or another they just cant match it.

Loads of techy websites rate it as the best iPod dock for sound quality at the price. I recently went for the Bose Sound dock for £200 from Best Buy. I think it's excellent. Certainly amazing how it fills a room with rich, deep sound from such a small speaker. I dont think you can really go wrong with either. BTW - Best Buy have them all out working so you can put your iPod on it and see which one you prefer.

The bits you dont like are just the tutorials - missions to teach you the controls etc. Get past that and it gets much better. As for getting around quicker, there are trains, stagecoaches and you can make camps to help with that.
