Hi all, I currently have a 2 year old iPhone 4 which is slowly on its way out. Apple have priced themselves out of a customer for the iPhone 5 so I am now certainly looking at moving over to Android. I have about 60GB worth of music stored on my MacBook Pro (yes I've been a bit locked in by Apple in the past few years) and of course its all in iTunes format etc. I actually really like my MacBook and iTunes so I dont want to get rid of that... I just wondered if Android phones work well with this combination? Anyone have any experience with this sort of setup? Is it going to be a painful migration? Cheers in advance.

There is no charge for parking in Winchester on a Sunday so you can take your pick of anywhere really. I would drive right into the centre and get as close as you can. The Brooks Shopping centre car park is probably closest.

If its a boy, willy down in the nappy and keep the nappy around or a muslin when changing as they like to pee everywhere when the cold air hits them. My boy is 8 days old today and I am learning fast. Need sleep tho He is suffering with Colic symptoms at the moment... refusing to sleep on his back because he is clearly in pain.... but all the advice says it is dangerous to let them sleep on their belly. So the only time he is really sleeping is when we are holding him on us. Not great.

No reason to get too worked up about this... yes it's bad behaviour but I bet we all know someone who has done it. Everyone has their off days.

Quality defender... not really sure how he has been languishing in the Championship for so long.

I hate it when people (mainly women) say the same word twice. I.e they say cold twice to emphasise that it isn't really cold, just chilly... "It's not cold cold" or baby twice to emphasise it isn't a newborn "It's not a baby baby"

People who are old enough to have bought houses before the boom are so lucky... I've just moved, probably for the last time now as I have finally worked my way up to a 3 bed semi, and my new mortgage with rates as low as they are is... £1100 per month!! Thats only going to go up when interest rates start creeping back up. I'm gonna be skint for the next 24 years!

I work in IT (SAP if your interested!) and I am constantly having to move around companies because everywhere is outsourcing the work to India. It has already been proven that it isnt cheaper to outsource to India, and now this proves what I already knew - the quality of work delivered and support isnt as good. If you are a full time permie at a company it is in your interests to deliver a high quality, easily supportable system. If you are an outsourced contractor it is in your interests to do the exact opposite as it generates further revenue for your company.

Rise of the Football League too... the gap is no longer so wide. All 3 teams that went up last year have stayed up... should give us some belief for next year.

How do you even start out to become a spy? Do you need any university qualifications? Just curious.

I work with a Reding "fan" who has just bought a season ticket for next season. He thought Reading would be in the Champions League next year as they won the Championship!! Made me chuckle. Talk about plastic fans!! He openly admits he is only interested in going to see Man Utd, Chelsea etc.

I think these new rules are excellent and have been a long time coming. Lets get football back to being a competitive sport rather than a billionaires plaything. Success will be based on how well a club is run and by how good they can produce youngsters rather than owners wealth which is no bad thing.

I have just got over a similar issue. My laptop was losing connection to my wireless router about once per minute for 10-15 seconds. I have other devices (PS3, XBOX, iPhone) which had no problem. It turned out to be the fact that there were so many other wireless routers in range that were broadcasting on the same channel as mine. I changed the channel that my router was using, and the problem went away instantly. I had to restart my iPhone so it picked up the new channel but that was all.

+1 - I just got the £999 13 inch macbook pro with Lion and it is amazing. So fast and so nice to work on. I don't think I will ever go back to Windows now. Like you say, you can get a Windows laptop with the same or even better spec for less, but a good spec on paper is useless if the OS doesnt make best use of it. You dont need an amazing spec on a macbook because they just work so much better.
