I've had the same issue. Turned out that too many of neighbours had routers using the same channel. If you connect to your router and change the channel (it can be anything from 1 to 12) it will go away. For me there were too many sky routers within range snd sky tend to use 6 by default. Changed it to 3 and never had a problem since.

Would be a shame if this thread just turned into a commentary of all things Pompey. Can't we just go back to them just being an insignificant lower league "rival" who we rarely get to play cos they're so ****. Let them get on with screwing things up in League 2 in their own special way. No one cares about them anymore... Just how it should be.

That'l do nicely. They can scrape around in league 2 for for the next 5-10 years. They havent got away with it IMO.

My contract is ending with Vodafone in a few weeks and I need to move to a new network because I get virtually no reception where I work. I know Orange reception is good where I work because others in the office are on it and they are doing some really good contract deals at the moment. But I keep hearing terrible things about how poor they are generally. Anyone here on Orange and think they're good?

You can scrimp on a few things (estate agent/solicitors fees) but get a descent survey done. You dont want any nasty surprises there!

Monte Carlo... I went last year for 4 nights. Was amazing. Getting and staying there isnt too pricey (i flew EasyJet to Nice and stayed in the hotel that overlooks the famous hare-pin for £350 each). Restaurants and drinks are of course way more than you're ever likely to pay anywhere else in the world! But for a one off special occasion its okay. Plenty of interesting things to see and do and a nice little beach.

I got a Renault from a main dealer (second owner) and unbeknown to me until after the deal was done, a 1 year warranty from WarrantyDirect was included in the price. It was a lifesaver in the end as despite the car only having done 11k miles when I bought it the gear box went after 2 months. Would have cost me over a grand without the warranty. It was fixed for free within a week. I dont have that car anymore and I dont have a warranty for my current car. Just one of those things, when you need it and you've got it, its a god send. In my experience, WarrantyDirect were brilliant. Immediately identified the fault was covered by the warranty and it is was repaired at no cost to me within days.

Why do so many people in Russia drive around with cameras on their dashboards? There are thousands of videos on Youtube and Liveleak etc where accidents are caught on these cameras. Does the Russian version of You've Been Framed pay particularly well for these videos?

I had similar issues with WIFI and my iPhone 4. It started with intermittent dropping and then started to just not connect at all. The reset network settings would work for a while and then it would come back. I eventually found out this is caused by too many WIFI networks broadcasting on the same channel. Each WIFI router can broadcast on any one of the 12 channels. But Sky for example will set all theirs to use Channel 6. In my case, I had a lot of neighbours with Sky WIFI within range of mine and if they were all set to use channel 6 then they can interfere with each other. I logged onto the wireless router, changed the channel to another number, restarted my iPhone and the problem has never come back. Your other wireless devices may also need a reboot to pick up the new channel.

B&Q (Kingfisher) are outsourcing to India. I escaped just in time. It annoys me so much that companies give their work to other countries and then wonder why no one has any money to spend in their shops!! All the money being made by companies in this country is just flowing straight out into people working abroad. They're not better or cheaper either (see RBS/Natwest IT **** up)

Again, thats fine if you can pay up front like that. But for me its more like getting a £20 per month contract and most of the iPhone rivals are free, whereas you still gotta put down a few hundred quid plus the contract for an iPhone5.

I dont really see it as a mistake - its not even one of my options (to stick with Apple that is). I still think they make great products, but others have raised their game and make equally good products at a price I can afford/justify. Thanks for the advice on doubletwist.com though... I reckon its gonna come in handy!!
