How damaging do you think the Pinnacle fiasco will be..?
Wildgoose replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
I think that sounds a very fair point. Tony Lynam seemed like a genuine guy (endorsed by those on here who know him) and may well have been strung along. I don't think we should be rude to anyone who posts on here, even our 'beloved' rivals, just ignore them if you don't like what they say. Simples really! -
Quality! :-)

Interesting. Thanks for the link!
-
Haha. That's profound! Thanks :-)
-
Yep +1 We'll see, but I'm more hopeful than I've been for a very very long time
-
Oh I see, you were being ironic.......well, I think you should just carry on being yourself! I wait for the little interjections, they brighten up the forum! Don't let 'em get to ya! Everyone's opinion counts...... By the way I originally come from the Bournemouth/Poole area myself.

Really? Are you saying you would prefer to consolidate even if the playoffs or top two can be done? Your posts usually make me smile with your sense of humour but you've got me confused on this one.....

We will break the 'curse' sooner rather than later. Let's face it, Sky would have been hard pressed to catch us on a good day last season! A better team will change that!

I too think that would be a reasonable expectation for this season, with anything else being a bonus and putting us ahead of schedule.
-
Me too. A good CV

Vassell's gone to turkey now
-
Love it! Haha
-
Both of those could be good for us I reckon
-
Thanks. Excellent and very interesting site. Shall we make some enquiries? ;-)
-
Absolutely right. The client is in control. The signs are good so far. Nothing to worry about
-
Very true! Now why didn't I think of that? :-)
-
You have posed a good question there, but I'd go for Saints winning the premier League any day! But I did enjoy 1966 so maybe the fact England have won it at least once influences my thinking......
-
1. Saints 2. England ......but love them to both do well
-
Definitely! But surely this one's too good to be true (as are most on 606)
-
Yep! ;-)
-
Absolutely! I think Sports Psychology can have a big part to play and have always been interested in it I agree with Um Pahars re Mr Woodward though......right man, wrong time!
-
Great to hear. I am starting to think everything he has done and faced in his career until now has prepared him to take on a club needing to be rebuilt from the foundations. Step forward ML and Saints. This could be a totally inspired choice!

I came upon this brief but interesting Sport's Psychology Article inspired by Alan Pardew. Thought you might find it interesting too......I did http://www.themartineffect.co.uk/football-articles-alan-pardew.htm
