Very sad to hear of his death. A real gent and an ordinary (yet extraordinary) bloke. A great ambassador for England and for Football in general, wherever he went. One of the best respected managers in the game. Always loved listening to his views. Football will be the poorer without him. RIP Sir Bobby Robson

I'm with you on this. I'm desperate to see some signings and staff added like all of us, (can't wait! but got to....) but am confident the guys at the helm will do what is necessary to succeed. Happy to have a club to support. In ML & AP we trust!

I did and decided football could never be the same if Saints went under! Would have changed everything for me. I live very close to Bath City FC so would get there a few times in the season and I may have taken a mild interest in AFC Bournemouth as they were the first team I saw as a youngster.....but I wouldn't be able to get into following either of them properly. Very glad we are still 'alive' !!!!!!

I agree with most of what you say. Good sensible and reasoned post! However, I have to disagree with one thing, I reckon Beckham WOULD improve our team somewhat, even if just for his crossing and set pieces! Not that we would get him, of course........:-)
