Interesting that on the Saints Player interview AP says the Jaidi deal appears to be slipping away from us a bit, but doesn't want to say too much as not fair on the player or the club.......

To be fair to the guy, he has not had many other clubs and I guess is looking at his options. Frustrating for us but normal and fair enough really. I don't see it the same as with Stern John as he clearly took us for a ride and had indicated he wanted to stay...... A warm welcome if he signs, but I do hope AP has another CB lined up if it falls through!

I hope you guys are right, I have had this funny feeling it will fall through.....no ITK or evidence, just a feeling. Hope I'm wrong and it's just a hang over from too many let downs in the past. I am very positive about the club and the new era, just won't be happy with this one till it's actually done and dusted!

Sounds excellent to me. Very sound, sensible and considered appointment. At last it seems we really are going to be run in a professional and first class way. I really don't care if it takes a bit of time to build the club and team back to where want to be, the journey has started. Well, I think I'm just glad and relieved that we seem to have the right owner in place now. Looking forward to a steady, if not necessarily spectacular, rebuilding of the club we love. I don't care if it's not instant success, just happy to be along for the ride. Here's to the future! PS Thanks for the info re Pinnacle, it does seem to make sense of what happened when.

I don't think he means to take 4 months to eradicate the -10 points. Lol :-0 Though I agree it could sound that way. Rather I think he means that it might take 4 months to play catchup with the pack before making a push for the playoffs etc which seems entirely reasonable doesn't it? AP has said he's ideally like to be shot of the -10 after 5 games. That might be a bit hopeful though.....
