Not true at all, but its what would Redknapp would have you believe. When he took over we we only just in the relegation zone, and Woodward wasn't appointed until after we were relegated.

There isn't a single player who I can be bothered to hate. The one's who left to go onto greater things, well good luck to them; and those whose careers subsequently downhill, well it evokes a certain amount of schadenfreude in me. While I totally agree with Matt being at the top, it is a really dumb list. While great footballers, players like Bergkamp and Gerrard can't be considered some of the all-time best penalty takers, they have both missed several. It would be interesting just to see the same list ordered by success rate. And James Beattie should totally be in there.

That article just shows what a terrible newspaper the echo is. Other than the headline, there is no indication of what he's saying at all, no direct quotes, nothing. Terrible reporting.
