im actually more upset with the players than the selection - the defensive changes (davis and Hoiveld didnt make much difference as they were not at fault with the goal. Wanyama whilst he was injured was the best midfielder in the team - Jack Cork we meant to be a poor substitute - Now Wanyama's back it is a disgrace that he is playing It wasnt that long ago that Ward prowse was undroppable and the next David Beckham - and the only other change up front was Guly The fact of the matter our midfield and front men were all poor including Lambert and Lallana - they created hardly anything - kept giving the ball away - looked lazy and unmotivated - didnt close down as a unit - it fact were utter dross.

I do like Mopo and enjoy the style of football that we play - but given the players that we have is our league position that exceptional - I personally think that Adkins or any half reasonable manager would have got us to this position. PS I do want Mopo to stay

Mopo has always said its a squad game. Jack cork has been mom or there abouts for the last 5/6 games - what sort of message does it send the squad players that even if your the best player for the last 5/6 games that you will be dropped as soon as a 1st team player comes back from injury I think you should play your form players

In the hour or so of football that people are judging Gallagher on he has done some great things (goal, movement, strength) but also shown some very worrying signs (miss vs Arsenal, fitness lasted an hour) - No one can honestly say whether he will make it on the evidence so far (by the way I think he will be OK) It is therefore a massive gamble to rely on an 18 kid and as such could be significantly weaker if he cant preform for most matches With RL injured and SG lasting only an hour or so - where are the goals going to come from on the bench if we need to change things or are chasing for a goal I thinks its a massive gamble not to replace the nutter and should we be making those types of gambles at this stage of the season

Out of interest does anyone know his preferred position because for England he plays as a holding midfield player but for saints he plays out wide in the diamond.
