The when will I receive my Pompey confirmation sweepstake

Without raking too much over the ticket office's ineptitude... My on-line order history has been showing an allocated ticket for over a week They took my money over a week ago The last attempt to collect bus tickets was at the game on Saturday when I was told that they couldn't be collected without the confirmation e-mail as they hadn't yet been printed. After trying to be patient I finally gave in and tried to chase them up yesterday. The call centre ticket office number say they can't help The stadium ticket office number appears to be off the hook An e-mail to the tickets@saintsfc.co.uk remains unanswered So when/will I receive my confirmation e-mail? Closest guess wins a packet of crisps and a place on the bench vs the skates. I'm going for Friday 11.45 am -

What's the ticket office's e-mail address? Is it just ticketoffice@saintsfc.co.uk ? -

My on-line history has changed... Not a good sign. Looks like we're on bus 25 now... -

This is true, however I still haven't received my e-mail confirmation despite my on-line history showing (for over a week) that I have been allocated tickets, and the money taken. I tried to collect the tickets at the weekend but was told that they hadn't yet been printed but that the ticket office WOULD be open on the day of the game from 9am. I can't get down during the week and so will have to collect them on the day. It only thing that I can see that I am at fault for in this scenario is being stupid enough to assume that the "ticket office" would be able to organise the allocation and distribution of a couple of thousand tickets. As you say, my own fault. -

I tried at the weekend. I have had a ticket allocated for a week but couldn't collect on Saturday as despite having a printout of my on-line order history clearly showing me booked onto Bus 1 the "tickets haven't been printed yet". Give then I have been allocated a bus days earlier I can only assume that either 1) the ticket printing machine is broken, the spare machine is also broken and that their attempts to find an alternative, whilst thorough diligent, have not yet been successful, or 2) they are pathetically incompetent EDIT: Would be a shame not to say it again. F***ing pathetic. -

N I did, thank you for the offer. However I got my mum to try for me (yes I'm 5) at the game this weekend. They won't let me have them as they still haven't printed them. Looks like I'll need to get them on the day. Not impressed -

Bus 1 from the stadium +1 other. If I'm ever allowed to collect my tickets that is... -

No. I am leaving from St. Mary's and my tickets "have not yet been printed". It's pathetic. -
Saints V Blackpool Match Thread and Reaction

Is it just me or do we seem reluctant to shoot? It seems that the players would rather touch the ball out for somebody else than have a crack themselves -

Thank you for the offer. My Mum tried to pick the tickets up for me before the game today only to be told that the second ballot hadn't been finalised yet! She phoned me and passed the phone to the girl in the ticket office. I pointed out that I had a confirmation showing on my on-line account (which my Mum had a print out of with her) and she then changed to say that the ticket hadn't yet been printed. After I kicked off about not having any other opportunity to collect the tickets before the day of the game, she said that the ticket office would be open on the day of the match and that I could collect them then. I'm sure that there was a previous announcement that the ticket office would NOT be open on the day and so if they have been forced to change this they have done a p*ss poor job of making it public. I'm sure I will make it to the game (fingers crossed) but this is winding me up so much. I'm really f***ing angry. You'd think they were writing every coach ticket out by hand as I can;t see any reason why printing 2-3000 bus tickets should take more than a day or two at most with even partial automation. -

Fair enough, but shirty or otherwise, if people can't collect their tickets at the last home game before then there will be huge problems. For one, I won't have another oportunity to collect them (or have somebody collect them for me) and so wouldn't be able to go. -

When I phoned the ticket office at the begining of the week I was told that anybody could come down and, provided they had my name, membership number and address, could collect my coach tickets for me, regardless of having recieved an e-mail. If (as the9 posted), they are getting shirty if you don't have your e-mail confirmation there are going to be a LOT of problems. If people are not able to pick up their tickets at the game tomorrow, or potentially even worse, different windows are allowing different things there will be pandemonium. How do they expect any fans who don't live / work within a few minutes of the stadium to be able to collect tickets in midweek, especially if they don;t end up having all of the e-mails sent out until Tuesday/Wednesday (which wouldn't surprise me at this rate). -

It's not as if they didn't have notice of the game is it. Surely an automated system could have been put in place, for part of the process at least. I get the impression there is somebody sat in the ticket office writing each confirmation e-mail manually. -

No e-mail yet for me. Somebody (on one of the number of threads) offered to pick up my tickets for me as I cant get down this weekend. Whoever that was, I can't find the post now to reply to it directly. Thank you for the offer but, without wanting to sound like a 5 year old, I have already called my Mum and she is going to collect them for me... -
If we want to get all MLG about it... There are 5.026 x10^57 different combinations in which the draw could fall. 8.734 x10^55 of these result in a Manchester Derby. (8.734 x10^55)/(5.026 x10^57) = 1/63
