Miss your match updates mate U18 discussion in the B team thread was deemed confusing - Personally, I'd have made it the Academy thread and combined both. Doyle looks a player, for sure.

Both out on loan at the moment. It's probably coincidental, but it's quite a good idea to target players at teams like Chelsea & Everton. Both have good academy recruitment, and both spend f*ckloads on their 1st team. So there's always a chance the pathway is blocked for academy lads.

Interesting that Dave Horseman has said we’ve lacked cutting edge in these first 2 matches (& I know I’ve not seem either of them in training) but both trialists earlier in the summer gave us exactly that by all accounts. Hopefully as we get sharper, the goals will come.

The interesting thing about him is we know he has talent — but what he needs to have is the application & mentality that Ralph wants.
