Had his op end of Jan. Can't remember when Ralph said he could train again -- Can't be too far off. (But then again, it's been like that with him for what feels like most of the season. Hopefully the op sorted the problem).

Agree & what scares me is our next fixtures vs theirs. We have to hope Brighton can get dragged further down.

Next set of fixtures for us are tough.

The home form is the most concerning thing. We used to be really good in games after a week of training, but that's Palace & Cardiff (both similar sides) that we've really struggled against after a long build-up.

That Burnley penalty is feeling extra painful now. 2 pts from Palace/Burnley/Cardiff is gutting.

Cardiff are so going to win this.

I remember that being so odd at the time. Strachan never gave him a look in the league but played him in the cup final. I also remember (was it Burley?) playing him at centre-back in the championship and being unusually good in the air for somebody standing 5'9".

I thought the same thing. He joined in with first team training when Ralph joined, but I hadn't seen him in training pics for a few weeks since.

I so hope you are right! I'm expecting this one to be similar to the Palace game. (Hopefully they won't be as good).
