It just beggars belief. I'd love to know where Carrillo was in the shortlist at the start of the season. I get that numerous targets wouldn't have wanted to come to us, but £19 million..... FFS. I suppose we should count ourselves lucky we stayed up & that £19 million is very slightly not as damaging as it could have been.

The Black-Box clearly got infected with RansomWare in January & Carrillo's agent was behind it. They blackmailed us for £19m & we got Carrillo in the post.

Yeah, agree with all that Faz. I find it so frustrating because that YouTube clip above is maddening because he has ludicrous talent. Hopefully the prospective Nice player sales (Balotelli / Plea / Seri) will have a knock-on to them being able to put together decent enough package for Boufal. (Nice doesn't look like the worst place to live, either).

Thing is, if we can't worry about what he might be worth after a great season in France. (Aside from a sell-on clause).
