  1. It's clearly nowhere close.
  2. Starts for Arsenal in the cup.
  3. Alan Nixon: Everton eying moves for Sakho (West Ham) & Dembele (Celtic): https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/5284373/Everton-transfer-news-diafra-sakho-moussa-dembele/
  4. POTTER FOR THE POTTERS? Former Stoke defender Graham Potter is keen to talk to his old club about the vacant manager’s job, Sky Sports News has been told. Potter played for Stoke between 1993 and 1996, and since becoming a manager in Sweden, he’s impressed Stoke’s current bosses. The club's board has been monitoring his progress, but it’s thought his lack of Premier League experience could be an issue.
  5. Yeah, Pelle got battered on here & in the stands. I remember being so happy for him when he got that mega late goal in the cup. Was it against Millwall? He was SO happy!
  6. I love Boufal. A player with ridiculous skill. But, is effectively Gaston in different wrapping paper.
  7. I think my original sarcasm on post #114 was mainly aimed at the subtle shifting in how our media spun articles have slowly started to change. Agree about needing 2 attackers - It's an over simplification from me, but we basically need a "Pelle" & "Mane".
  8. I'm aware of that, George.
  9. SSN: Rowett & Martin O'Neill are the current front runners.
  10. I'm sure we are relaxed about the situation. I'm sure we will reinvest all of the £75m.... Over several windows.....
  11. He just copies other people. This morning he's just copied this from the Sunday Post: https://www.sundaypost.com/fp/cummings-and-goings-for-both-sides-of-old-firm/
  12. Just had a look on Sky Bet to see who's in the running currently: Martin O'Neill 10/11 Gary Rowett 6/1 Ryan Giggs 6/1 Slaven Bilic 12/1 Aitor Karanka 16/1 Garry Monk 16/1 Nigel Pearson 16/1 Ronald Koeman 16/1 Michael O'Neill 18/1 Steve McClaren 18/1 Roberto Mancini 20/1 Sean Dyche 20/1 Lee Johnson 22/1 Brendan Rodgers 25/1 Chris Hughton 25/1 Claudio Ranieri 25/1 Gordon Strachan 25/1 Steve Bruce 25/1 Andre Villas-Boas 28/1 Frank de Boer 28/1 Harry Redknapp 28/1 Marcelo Bielsa 28/1 Roy Keane 28/1 Chris Wilder 33/1 David Wagner 33/1 Eddie Howe 33/1 Graham Potter 33/1 Jurgen Klinsmann 33/1 Rafael Benitez 33/1 Slavisa Jokanovic 33/1 Louis Van Gaal 40/1 Tony Pulis 40/1 Rory Delap
  13. Yeah, I heard that. I think he's decent for us when not playing in one of the two DM roles. He's not going to get loads of goals, but is neat & tidy up there & probably better defensively from there than Tadic too.
  14. Yeah, but is it though? I mean, assuming we even score, we'll just regress back into our own half and invite tons of pressure onto ourselves.
  15. So here we go again. I see they won 3-0 which replenishes their confidence prior to playing us. We need a right-back to get fit ASAP. Not particularly optimistic as I remember the defeat to them @ St Mary's being a performance that really set the tone for us being so sh*te.
  16. From the Birmingham Mail:
  17. How did he get on? Just said on Solent it was his 1st game in professional football as a right back. Fair play.
  18. Sounded decent on the radio!
  19. Turning it around at Brum will do wonders for his confidence too.
  20. Scores for Yeovil!
  21. & another goal for Sam G.
  22. I'm convinced his ankle isn't 100%
  23. Where's Bednarek playing? Centre-back?
  24. Only 2 changes from Palace match. I still doubt it's good enough to beat Fulham, which in itself is part of the problem.
  25. I don't know why we don't try something a little different and have him right-hand attacker coming in onto his left foot.
