Going to be interesting so see in the coming months how our U23 strikers evolve. Olomola / Barnes / Seager will all soon be competing for places. Only an injury to Jay or Shane from being on the 1st team bench too.

I largely agree, Steve. What I am curious about is how scoring might effect him. Pelle & Rickie had times where they looked shocking and then suddenly scoring would completely change them. But as I said earlier, he won't get 2 easier chances to score than the 2 he's just put over the bar from half a yard out.

As you say, the plus is he's getting fitter. That's the key really. We need to keep him fit & then (hopefully) the goals will come.

The worrying thing is, it's unlikely he will get easier chances than the 2 he's just had from the last 2 games.

The last 2 target men we've had (Lambert / Pelle) also scored goals, for what it's worth.

9th after not scoring any goals is the good news. We better sort this out in January otherwise the combination of not being able to score & possibly selling our 2 centre-backs in the summer doesn't bode well for next season.
