Keeping Track of the Contracts 2024-25
SuperSAINT replied to Over land and sea's topic in The Saints
Cheers for keeping this up-to-date mate. Very useful indeed. We really do have a plethora of young defenders on-board. Will be very interesting to see if we start loaning a fair few of them out again. -
Interesting Tottenham article comparing Idrissa Gueye / Dier / Wanyama http://tottenhamhotspur.blogspot.co.uk/2016/06/gueye-compares-rather-well-to-dier-and.html

Interesting video. Cheers.

Shortly after the Payet masterclass on the pitch - Did anyone witness the car-crash Twitter by the Sullivan Bros last night? DAVE SULLIVAN JNR@DaveSulley My dad owns him. Followed a little while later, by... DAVE SULLIVAN JNR @DaveSulley I by No means meant anything racist or that we literally own him. Just an exclamation of proudness that he his part of WHU DAVE SULLIVAN JNR @DaveSulley Payet tweet had been deleted. I by no means meant we "own" DIMI it is just u amazed a player of his quality is under contract at West Ham

But also mental

Every time a player gets walloped, Hoddle is saying "there's nothing in that". Didn't know he was such a hard nut!
-
Does he want out himself, Essruu?
-
Between the dancing, the short stays at clubs, & the tantrums - I'm not sure what to make of him!
-
I can't listen to that without his dubbed voice reminding me of Spottswoode from Team America
-
Did some reading and both sound pretty damn good!

Southampton's academy team could play in the EFL Trophy next season

I hadn't thought of that Chelsea's youth team seem to be very good - Which is even more impressive when there were 35+ players out on loan as well! -
JENKINS TARGETS JOE ALLEN Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has expressed his interest in bringing Joe Allen back to the club from Liverpool, with rumours continuing to link the Wales international with his boyhood team. "I think it's been well documented that Joe is going to look at his future when he is finished out at Euro 2016," Jenkins told the Daily Mirror. "Naturally, we are interested in good players like Joe who may be available this summer given that he has a year left on his contract. Obviously we will keep tabs on his situation and see what happens later in the summer."

I'm calling it. Chelsea to win the JPT. (I assume this would be the U21's?) Need MLG to confirm. -
Good stuff as always mate. I echo your final statement too - Lets hope all goes through safely & that the tournament is just spoken about for the football.

You know they are going to come in for Bertrand...
-
Ha ha! I ruled them out as they want to spend £30m on one.
-
I'm going for Bournemouth & Stoke (Or Palace)

I wouldn't necessarily disagree with that. Certainly had a good Toulon tournament, so scouts would have flagged him up. 6 goals & 2 assists in the league last season too. We seemed have have been linked with him every year since he's made his break-through at Birmingham. We've been linked with a few right-wingers already: - Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - Pione Sisto - Andros Townsend - Nathan Redmond - Jordon Ibe Hard to say where Redmond ranks amongst that lot.

The McClaren thing was started by me saying "Thank f*ck Steve McClaren has been mentioned" AFTER K.Billy said the mystery is someone who hasn't been mentioned. There's nothing in it.
-
The Times reportedly has a piece regarding Norwich's transfer situation that apparently states we are winning the race for Redmond. As The Times has a pay-wall up, I've linked to the Stoke Sentinel's mention of it. Which isn't the worst idea in the world.

I find it interesting how Guan's shortlist from February included AvB / Moyes / De Boer are now seemingly ruled out by K.Billy's list (especially when the 3 of them are now not under contract with anybody).
