I don't disagree with your positional choices that you've mentioned - But ultimately, that only replaces what we've lost. Plus we lost Juanmi & Gaston.
-
Last story about tello was that he'd cost less than that (clause) and that he rejected us & Liverpool. He's an orthodox right winger. I think we need someone a little more versatile in the Chamberlain mode. (Speaking of which, that's gone incredibly quiet - I don't just mean a link to us - he's not really linked with anyone)

MADRID OUT OF POGBA RACE' Manchester United’s path to sign Paul Pogba is now clear after Real Madrid ended their interest in the midfielder for financial reasons, Sky Sports News HQ has been told. According to sources close to the deal, United’s superior financial strength has given them a huge advantage in negotiations with Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, and forced Real to admit defeat in their pursuit of the player At this point in negotiations, the basic transfer fee for Pogba is understood to start at around £85m (€100m). However, when taking into account add-ons and bonuses related to the success of the player and the club – as well as Raiola’s fee – the total amount United pay for Pogba’s transfer could reach over £105m (€123m). This is not including the player’s contract, which is expected to comfortably exceed £65m, were the club to pay him a basic salary of £250,000 per week on a five-year contract.

Certainly looks like more of a box to box style midfielder than a destroyer. Looks very talented. I Like the deals that come out of nowhere. Mane was one of those. Steven Davis was the benchmark though.

I heard that unless moves for other targets fail, it's unlikely we will go for Berahino.
-
Sounds like a very Saints type signing.
-
I always thought we would sign a right winger, left winger & no.10 to replace Mane/Gaston/Juanmi. If we are counting J-rod as a striker, we only have Tadic who can play left.
-
The deal is off now apparently.

It's not just the goals we will miss. Mane & Pelle both hit double figures for assists didn't they?

Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC We're pleased to announce Christoph Klarer and Aaron O'Driscoll have signed professional contracts with #SaintsFC:

Michiel Jongsma @JongsmaJongsma Feyenoord will receive 10 percent of any fee Graziano Pelle commands.

Yeah, Seager must be out for a while yet.

About what Palace are spending on a striker.

Unless that was Redmond after-all.

This. I thought we'd see a few more coming in. Replacing Sadio not exactly the easiest thing to do. Whilst not involved, squad would be stronger if Juanmi / Gaston were replaced with 1 player. Need a keeper too.
-
I hope the new direction isn't: Wanyama > Reed Mane > Isgrove Pelle > Gallagher

Davide Santon is set for a medical at Sunderland after they agreed a fee with Inter Milan for the former Newcastle full-back, Sky sources understand. The Italian international has travelled to the North East for talks and will undergo a medical if he agrees personal terms.

BBC Radio Leeds @BBCLeeds BBC Leeds understands Bournemouth will pay #lufc £10m with a sell on clause for Lewis Cook if the deal is completed.

I know what you are saying Convict, but when you include Rickie as well, we've had a big target man as part of our DNA for years. If he does go to China, can you imagine what they have offered him? (Chelsea & Everton wouldn't be paying him peanuts)
-
Pelle has 1 year left on his deal & turns 31 in a few days. It's a fairly impressive fee. (I'd still keep him though!)

The tweet Ivan is referring too: Darren Lewis @MirrorDarren Southampton and Italy striker Graziano Pelle is closing in on a £13million move to China. Player wants the move. More @MirrorFootball

Quite like this one.

How much is each player?
